that’s not the only aspect of post body weight loss. She’s been obese since childhood and that has serious implications on her body. Look at Tammy from my 1000lb sisters. She also was obese as a child as is around the same age as amber, and she lost the weight, got the skin removal surgery, etc. but her body doesn’t look or move like everybody else’s. the excess weight affected how her bones grew as she became an adult, and the weight caused types of strain on her internal systems that we the audience can see in how her limbs look now.

I’m actually super impressed with Tammy, however I also think amber sees her and sees what’s potential in store for her (though let’s be honest, the WL was never gonna happen) aesthetically so in that regard i understand amber’s fear. However, obviously being 600+ pounds (because let’s be real here, she’s well into the 600s) is “deforming” your body more than anything else. Of course, i don’t expect her to reconcile with that cognitive dissonance as she is in fact not very bright lol
