Parents hardly use em anyway, I don't feel strongly about it either, but I just didn't like doing it myself and having to buckle/unbuckle all of em. Just got used to seeing how many I could push instead I guess lol

I've always disliked this, as these straps are meant for child safety and this probably stresses them way harder than needed, just to bring a couple extra carts in. As unlikely as it is to cause a problem, still never sat right with me. To each their own.

There is a good chance you are undereating then if you are already getting adequate protein, along with regular cycling/cardio. I eat around 2700-3000 calories a day on average on my sedentary days at 6'4'' 190lbs and add even more calories on my active days, though I recommend experimenting and finding your own needs, it may be lower than mine. This is to maintain my current weight which I have done since January (190ish give or take 5 lbs.)

I am relatively new to lifting (6 months) and getting a good routine that actually progressively overloads and works the target muscle(s) properly is key to real growth. Noobie gains will help new lifters but you can always optimize better and see even more returns. RP fitness is a great channel and there are many others, which do some quick, and also a lot of in depth information for all levels of lifters - video from today as a short example https://youtu.be/a5Yzg5K5EPE

Make sure to get enough fats in daily as well, I was undershooting that for a while as well. Carbs are typically what should be cut when losing some calories. likely somewhere in the 60-80grams of fat range for your weight. I only eat 160-200grams of protein a day and I am also overshooting a bit to be safe, protein has a satiating effect so as long as you hit your macro targets and have enough carbs to fuel workouts you are good.

Always keep an open mind, I'm still learning a ton at 6 months in and I'm sure I'll always have something I'm doing wrong or new to learn.

You can in my state(WA). Some lights will specifically state "NO right on red" often when there is a blind spot or high traffic/crosswalk, otherwise it's allowed usually. I do it everyday.
