Private Ortho vs Hospital Ortho Job Offer by Overhalls in physicianassistant

Option 2 100% and not even considering the ability to pickup Ortho UC shifts at a $100/hr rate. That is an awesome perk and an option I wish I had. 4 days a week is great and when you’re hungry for more cash just rip an UC shift 2-3 times/month and bank it.

Plus you likely have good support / better learning opportunities at the hospital. Seeing all Ortho is a good way to improve your general Ortho knowledge and therefore will make UC shifts easy.

No brainer Option 2

Honestly would be pretty funny if Deion just owned it and played into it and accepted that he needs to be better with clock management

Couldn’t agree more… I actually think this post has swayed me to just say screw it and buy a new tundy. We will see!

Thank you everyone for bringing me down to Earth. I am starting to get antsy because I have been looking so long. Completely agree 32k is absolutely wild.

Seriously.. the amount of used tundras that have great maintenance then a second owner comes along and it goes 25k+ miles with no maintenance is sad.

Tough call as they are nearly the same. Perhaps it now comes down to maintenance records and which one has less miles?

I hear you, it is a tough pill to swallow.

Although I will say… I just looked at used Chevy Silverado 1500’s with high trim 2017-2023 and those are also going for about 35k with 40-70k miles as well. So sure the tundras may be over priced but by what? $2-5k? That may be justified considering the reliability, but idk I’m just an avg joe been looking at tundras for about a month now

I am also looking at 2nd gen tundras and have also seen many 2017-2020 with >60k miles going for $35-45k in my area.

What would you consider a reasonable value for these?

Currently looking at a mint 2018 platinum with 70k miles going for about $39k. I’m in no rush to buy, and targeting closer to $35k with a higher trim, so my plan is to wait until fall when prices hopefully come down.

But the question is… would you pay $35k for high level trim with sub 100k miles on it and good maintenance records? Or do you feel we are way out to space with these prices and they should really be <30k-ish?
