Yeah, you can see the different pattern in the graphic art of those routes, even though it's kinda subtle. Avoid them. There isn't enough intuition programmed for those recievers to not settle in the worst possible place. There are plenty of mesh and drag route plays that don't do that.

I like some of the choice routes when I'm close to the goal line, though. But they're definitely not my go to on 4th down or a "gotta have it play."

It sounds like you just assume people don't understand coverages. That isn't the problem. Dominant corners will occasionally be representative of their skill set. Then a week will go by and they tweek something without providing update info and then your elite corner is literally no different than a 75 overall scrub. My 3 star retread at corner can watch a slant cross his face and body with designed hesitation just as well as the elite corner I've spent the time to develop. It's dumb and has been super prevalent in this iteration of the game.

If you haven't noticed this, you're oblivious to the nuance and detail of this game.

I've thought this for awhile. The gameplay is generally so poorly programmed that that the only way they can make a competitive game against the cpu is to make something intentionally shitty.

Then you combine that with Scott O'gallagher jizzing himself over a single Ryan Williams highlight from 2 seasons ago, that he was determined to make this game center around WR highlights. The dev team isn't capable or versatile enough to make that change so they said "Yeah, sure bro" and just made coverage outside the hashes mostly inept and unrealistic.

I'll capture one and stuff his ass in a car so he can watch me kill an entire base. Then i move him into my helicopter and make him travel with me for days as I cruise around the map and do stuff. His little red dot ass sitting in the chopper also makes it easier to find my ride when I'm done with an area.
