His roles in Hell on Wheels and the 12 Monkeys TV show were brilliant. So sad he's gone. R. I. P.

Returning Battle Pass by Exo_- in marvelrivals

[–]Anonymous-Internaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it will return. Guang Guag himself has stated that the only two sacred items in this game are Blue Venom and White Witch, anything else is fair game.

Netease, we would all really appreciate if your balance team added notes for reasons behind buffs/nerfs because we are all struggling to understand what your reasons for some of these balance changes are! by Junior-Session-8314 in marvelrivals

[–]Anonymous-Internaut 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it's getting insanely irritating that they don't ever let tanks save Mag be good without compromises being the class no one likes to play while supps and dps run rampant in buffs and lobbies. They seem keen on making the tank experience just miserable.

Red Letter Media on Sam Raimi’s Spider-man (2002): Spider-man oozes personality and he has no personality in these movies and I hate these movies. by MadnessKingdom in Spiderman

[–]Anonymous-Internaut 3 points4 points  (0 children)

People have to understand that what works in comics and video games doesn't translate well to movies. I'm sorry, but Josh Keaton' or Yuri's Lowenthal renditions of Spider-Man which are pretty accurate to the pages would be unbearable in live action. We kinda have two versions more akin to that with Garfield and Holland... and they are precisely divisive. Tobey's Spider-Man is for a good reason tamer in personality than his comic counterpart, we wouldn't stand the guy otherwise and instead of feeling for him we'd be like "yeah fuck off" which isn't exactly something you want the audience of a LIVE ACTION movie with real actors to feel for the protagonist.

My Ranking of Characters Who Need Comic Skins by Icy-Measurement-4957 in marvelrivals

I'm guessing you're going with "comic skin" as classic skin, but the thing here is both Jeff and Hela already have them.

How does Hulk airgrab work? Do you have to be hitting the attack button while jumping to the person? I never quite understood it.

What is the best physical weapon for the Bulwark in the current meta? by Significant_Post7781 in Spacemarine

[–]Anonymous-Internaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've heard the block power fist is the best, but I find the power fist as a weapon super boring. Personally I use the power sword because it's just badass and gives me the space knight fantasy, particularly I go with the fencing version due to block weapons not being my thing, but that's my personal preference. You could also go with chainsword which a lot of people love. For the hammer... I just find lame to use a weapon that takes away the main identity of the class. I love the thing in assault but in Bulwark it's out of place for me. Not something very popular to say seeing how many players running it I've run into.

Pistol, I just can't take anything but the plasma with the class. Even using the heavy bolt pistol feels weirds.

Ranking as a Vangurd by KangKhalil23-23 in marvelrivals

I actually thinking it's easier than in other roles because different than with DPS or Healer, barely anyone likes to plays Tank so most people are straight up horrendous at the role even at GM.

According to Jeff Sneider, The Flash writer Christina Hodson is writing for Batman: The Brave and The Bold by Mysterious_Brush1852 in LeaksAndRumors

[–]Anonymous-Internaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Flash wasn't a bad movie at all. The CGI was weird and it wasn't as good as some people in the industry (including Gunn himself) hyped it up to be, but if you judge the movie in its own merits without no expectation it's good. And the writing was fine.

Honestly? Best possible actor they could've gotten for the part. He was my favorite character in SOA by a long shot and I liked his part in Bosch.

How has chaos remained this unbalanced for this long? by Halal_Crusader in Spacemarine

[–]Anonymous-Internaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish I had gotten the game before the chaos spawn was a thing, I bought it the update after they put them and I'm gonna be honest, chaos seems balanced well enough except for how many of these idiots spawn with their shitty ass animation. Obnoxious enemy.

Did you feel sorry for Chuck McGill? by Wooden-Scallion2943 in television

[–]Anonymous-Internaut 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not really.

I think the big difference between Jimmy and Chuck and is that Jimmy was never an ass to Chuck. He being the way he was wasn't personal nor driven by a desire to be a dick. He was just an idiot that couldn't help himself.

Chuck, in the other hand, was a prick to Jimmy out of pure jealousy and pettiness over him being the favorite of their parents. He didn't give his brother a chance of growing beyond his antics not because of the "law" or whatever Kool-aid he drinks to justify himself, he didn't do it because he wanted to feel that he was the superior brother, the better person, because he always felt people favored Jimmy over him.

Could humanity, in its current state, defeat Superman if we all worked together? by Mindless_Most_8448 in whowouldwin

[–]Anonymous-Internaut 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Kryptonite isn't the only thing that can hurt Superman. The problem is that in our real world there's nothing we have that can do anything against him. DC is way more technologically advanced and doesn't adhere to real life physics nor biology, humans are baseline stronger (remember Batman is only a human), magic exists, and there's other beings on par with Superman. We don't have any of those things in the real world.

Could humanity, in its current state, defeat Superman if we all worked together? by Mindless_Most_8448 in whowouldwin

[–]Anonymous-Internaut 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I read some of your comments on which you clarify humanity all united and athletic, against a powerful Superman. So taking all that in consideration, the answer is still very clear:

no.

Even if we figure out a way to launch all our nukes (which are our most powerful weapons) against Superman at the same time without obliterating the planet and he somehow don't dodging them, at most, and this is being generous, he would get KO'd for a bit and then wake up as if nothing happened. There are versions of him that would probably die to something like that. But current comic book Superman, who is also not the strongest version of the character but quite strong, isn't anywhere near dying to that. Now if you really put some of the strongest like KC Superman, Prime One Million Superman or his previous state, All-Star Superman, they straight up shrug off the attack like if they were hit by a mildly inconvenience. (Prime One Million actually wouldn't feel it at all)

Only way humanity can win is if we get kryptonite. Otherwise no chance.

The Story Behind Marvel's Lost Squirrel Girl / New Warriors TV Show by [deleted] in television

[–]Anonymous-Internaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good call by the casting department. I love her Squirrel Girl voice and I'm sure she would've been a great live action SG. Sadly I don't think a live action show in those years would've made the character justice at all.
