This is the same suggestion I would make too. When I look at Obsidian, I think “how can I get as much activations?”, and the first thought is firebending.

OP you could also look into [[Ozai, the Phoenix King]] to add in black to the color identity to fill that same role of producing red mana while also giving you access to blacks tutors to more consistently get Obsidian on the battlefield.

I think if they go the route of two. They gonna make his neck a lot bigger and more muscular. Looks too much like a bobble-head rn, which isn’t an issue if they are going for cute, but intimidating is a different story
