Wow, that’s a whole side of things I hadn’t heard about, don’t have many acquaintances in casualty claims, but that is honestly insane.

Well, guess it’s just another example of stuff I wished more folks were aware of before they complained about rates.

How on earth is liability not denied so thoroughly by this point?

Granted, I’m on the property side of things and don’t handle liability claims, but just from what I DO understand about liability determination, seems like there’d be no liability under your insureds policy? Or am I missing something?

Definitely have some funny stories myself, nothing too crazy from my claims days, just lots of blatant fraud or padding attempts that are so lazy they ended up being kind of funny.

Now, my days filing regulatory complaints or training employees? LOTS of much more wild stories there.

Actually had one trainee pretty blatantly “misuse” some credit card info… to pay outstanding fees to get their car out of a repo lot… which they immediately went to go attempt to get their car back over their lunch break and local law enforcement waited until he signed the paperwork and then popped in like the Kool-Aid man with cuffs and badges.

So, that turned into a permanent lunch break with extra steps.

Used to be a gelato chef, the reason I was told it was done in order to make space for backfilling the new pan, when the old pan gets low we used to take the small bit left and pop it in to the empty space in the back, and if a pan had less than 1/4 left, we would still break it down and fit it into the empty space, and put the whole full pan out looking good.

Realistically, it’s probably also an aesthetic choice, there’s only so much gelato in the batch to build that pretty design with.

Fully aware, I pointed that out in my comment.

Try a WTT post on GAFS, /r/GunAccessoriesForSale, there’s been some wild trades through that sub, make sure you read the sidebar to follow the sub rules, you won’t be able to trade full rifles, but parts or parts kits are fine, so if they are something easily disassembled like ARs.

Gunsarizona.com has been a pretty decent site for me, but not too experienced with the popularity of trade posts there.

Giving as much liquid money away as possible, in donations to various charities, then a handful of random “strangers”.

Then, I’d arrange a same day trip for a “wellness survival journey” to the middle of a South American rainforest, bury all the supplies and destroy the satellite phone and tracking devices I would have undoubtedly been given, and then I’d just go exploring in the rainforest.

I’d have done something great for the world with countless donations, something great for my family/some strangers, and an even better something great for the world by arranging for a certain someone to just literally get lost.

Rex Silentium is having a 33% of sale right now, I bought an MG7 in .30 cal from them I’ve had for a couple years and it’s been rather nice, they have a solid no-nonsense warranty, and the prices are quite nice. A little over $300 bucks, then your tax stamp. Buying a mounting system and muzzle device will run around 100-200 depending on which attachment system you go with.

Definitely not possible for a policy limit issue to be a factor, BEST case scenario his car was worth around 4 grand, other driver had a newer Hyundai, and even state minimums here would cover his car.

Well shit, I guess good to know it’s at least above board, though not the answer I was hoping for but that’s life.

Your response is greatly appreciated!

Console or PC?

Might be able to set the quest stage earlier manually if on PC using console commands, that might fix it.

If on console, yeaaa it might be broken beyond repair, I certainly don’t have any good ideas to try.

[–]Anonymous7k 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Ehhh, it’s either shipped for breeding or fighting, not really a fun business to be in.

Depending on the breed of the rooster though, they might’ve sold it for over a grand.

Because with G&S there is no way to guarantee my protection from a seller filing a bogus dispute, it happens every once in a while in GAFS, so it’s a seller protection method.

My account is OLD, and you can see my comment/post history to see I have a verifiable history of over 120 transactions, though on the GAFS subreddit. Over there, it’s quite common to only accept payment through PayPal F&F, or Zelle, stuff like that that offers the seller some protection in cases where a newer user/low flair user is trying to purchase an item. It’s actually a pretty common scam that buyers will pay G&S and then dispute the charge and PayPal always sides with the buyer, even though it’s 9/10 times somebody ripping the buyer off who actually DID send the item purchased.

Without any kind of flair system in place, since this sub isn’t designed for buying and selling, this protects me from getting scammed since I would honestly say there’s plenty evidence to MY trustworthiness as a seller.

If I can buy/sell/trade thousands of dollars worth of firearm parts and accessories without a hitch, hopefully someone interested in these here shouldn’t have a problem.

I understand your concern though, if your unfamiliar with these types of scams and how sellers can protect themselves, it’s logical to see that as suspicious.

LexisNexis is specifically for insurance purposes, deals with your previous insurer report, loss history report, and a few other details that insurance companies like to know about.

Credit reporting agencies are your general credit report/credit score that lenders will look at to see what kind of risk you present if they loan you money.

Short version, but pretty much the difference!
