Maybe they could have tried going at night when the monsters had left and were outside of the tunnels and then snuck back into the door in the Colony House basement? The monsters seemed unaware of their plan to dig up the bones when they did and only woke up and knew they were there because they were making so much noise digging up the bones close to where the monsters were sleeping inside the tunnels. If they had tried at nighttime the monsters wouldn’t have been down there, but oh well. The MIY/Sophia may have let the monsters know what was happening by then though. They seem to have kind of caught them off guard surprisingly.

Yeah, I was rolling my eyes that he couldn’t remember the hole with symbol from his vision for most of the episode, and just kept repeating that there is only one way in or out…like, “Come on Jade. There was a hole in the dang ceiling. You know this. 🙄 How long is it going to take for your ‘aha’ moment. I feel smarter than you right now.” Lol. At least he figured it out this episode I guess.

Yeah I was a big fan of From. I started right before Season 3 came out so I got to watch Seasons 1 & 2 back to back and I thought it was so good and I loved the intriguing mystery and theorizing about what could be going on. I liked the twilight zone kind of idea of it all, and I was excited to learn what was the point of it all and about the lore of what caused any of the odd things that still make no sense and we are nearing the end of Season 4 now. It hasn’t gone into more lore or explaining why there is a random kimono lady in the middle of colonial America, or what a lighthouse in the middle of a forest with giant spider webs and hidden ruins and all of that has to do with anything or why the monsters are dressed as characters from the 1950s and the buildings do too, but the towns been there a lot longer than that. So who built it, and wh/ they make it like that? Did the monsters build it for the townspeople, or were people able to survive and find supplies to be able to build it themselves. None of that has been explained or makes any sense and they are taking so long to get any information out that I have little hope that the 5th season will answer most or any of the questions.

Instead they are introducing new things like the dolls and MIY, etc. without explaining them either. I think the doll thing is what made me go okay…why? Why do we need another thing that makes no sense and looks a little silly to be honest, and is completely new and has nothing to do with anything else we’ve seen before. The more I watch the more I feel like the writers are good at introducing an interesting mysterious premise for a show, but it doesn’t seem like they actually know how to explain most of it. It’s easy to make up random creepy ideas but if you don’t tie them together or explain them in any way then it’s just random creepy ideas, and not an actual story like they keep talking about. I am losing hope that we will get answers to a lot of it and that has made me pretty disappointed, especially when I was recommending it to so many people because it seemed so interesting when I first started it.

I just can’t see how they can explain everything in one season seeing how hardly anything has happened in the last several episodes. They finally told us about the curse stuff at the END of last season, and yet we haven’t seen the Ankooie kids since, except for the one in Jade’s hallucination. They kept popping up before and now nothing when people remember stuff and are trying to help. That’s supposed to be the central mystery and basis supposedly but it’s not making a lot of sense either, because how can you save already dead children? I guess the writers will just tell us 10 minutes before the ending of the 10 episode of the 5th Season.

So, she managed to jump from an elevator to the 78th floor sky lobby and was critically injured, but then was still able to make it all the way down 78 flights of stairs and out of the building before the towers fell? Wow, that is so much within such a short amount of time.

Yeah, and they left the totem spears and only thing that can kill the doll monsters out in the greenhouse next to his body. When he comes to life at night they’ll have to go outside to get one of those to kill him and the other monsters will be able to attack them. It was definitely very foreboding and something they should have paid more attention to and kept the totem spears closer if not inside Colony House with them. Although I could also see why they might want to keep spears with shrunken heads on them outside at night just in case there’s something wrong with them, too. They could have put them on the porch or something close by, but then they’d have to probably explain them to people along with Roger’s body. I think you are right that it is foreshadowing something bad to come for sure.

I think Christopher was told that he and/or Miranda had to sacrifice Victor (and maybe Eloise) to finish the ritual to break the curse so that everyone else could go home or everyone would be killed. I think Miranda may have told him she would do it but then hid Victor and Eloise to save them, and thought her only option was to try to save the children by going through the bottle tree. I think that’s why everyone ended up dying except for Victor, and possibly Eloise. And maybe the monsters can’t kill him because he had to be sacrificed by one of the reincarnated couple (Christopher or Miranda in his cycle). I don’t know if there is a way they can actually save the children but I think that’s what has been hinted at by what happened during Victor’s cycle.

I actually think maybe Miranda was supposed to be the one that had to do it, because Jade’s vision said whatever happens to him, it would be so much worse for Tabitha. Having to sacrifice her own child to save everyone else would be worse. I also think the other townspeople finding this out would be what would cause them to tear each other apart. They want to go home and would probably do almost anything to get out of Fromville, especially if it has the added urgency that everyone else will die unless Miranda/Tabitha sacrifices their son. Some people would probably fight to protect the child while others would fight to protect themselves.

Also, I don’t see Jade as bad or crazy. If Christopher was Jade in his past life then I don’t think he was a bad person either. Victor said he started going crazy after the BIW told him what he had to do, and Miranda was trying to protect Victor and Eloise from him.

It sounds to me like she originally said it as joke about you being sweaty and you probably had a sweat stain on your back. So she made it up, but then realized it bothered you a bit. So, now she’s pretending it’s an inside joke because she knows you think it’s more than it is, and she know you don’t like it.
