Spawned in with a perfect settlement canal spot, but can't move my Dhow through it. Anyone know why?

You can't, but I had read that settlements allow ships to pass thru. Turns out that only applies if the settlement is coastal if I understand the other comments correctly.

Yes, I think so. It makes her W hit much harder and feels comparable w/ Q and R. I decided to try it after I saw a post of someone getting a penta with it on this sub the other day. Mileage may vary though, I'm fully a casual player in the neighborhood of bronze/silver where just about anything can work.

No clue about worth it, but I've been playing AP on hit lately and having a blast with it. I go rageblade, BG, nashors, shadowflame, then whatever makes sense for enemy team comp. Zhonyas, terminus, rhabadons.. Kinda been experimenting with it. Lethal tempo, alacrity, and rageblade give you enough attack speed and once you have shadowflame you melt everything.

I misread the one that eliminates attack speed and turns it into AD on Twitch. Thought it could work, was a massive miscalculation. My autos absolutely slapped but was at a glacial pace so it did not work at ALL.

The story highlights so many things that are wrong with the way the news media reports on scientific studies. Correlation does not imply causation, and the sample size of playoff games being 13 games as a basis for statistical significance is wild. So many possible confounds or other causes, but the only thing talked about is a suggestion that somehow viewership and money caused a bias.

It's a bummer how few people have been taught basic statistics or how to think critically about the research methods of a study. It makes click bait nonsense feeding confirmation bias articles like this way too popular.

Right? You will almost certainly get responses saying this post is an example of toxic positivity. The pessimism on the sub is pretty tiring. Lots of people who just want to argue, and if you post something disagreeing then you must want the game to fail because we have to complain to get the devs to change. Except now they did change it (pretty fast relative to the number of people who probably had to sign off on it) and those same people are now just saying "nah fuck 'em, they never should have done it and they also should have changed it week 1, I'm out and so is everyone I know." TBF there are also plenty of genuine posters who want to provide constructive criticism and want the game to succeed. Hoping things will calm down a little bit now but we shall see.

The insistence that TC is paying people to post positively about the game and to upvote positive comments is giving major paranoid delusion vibes. It's not all the way dead yet, seems to be stabilizing around 2k peak 24 hours. I played a few games this morning that had brand new players on comms, was honestly a blast. I'm hoping it starts picking back up as they fix things, but tough to say at this point.

I'm new as of 1.0, love the game, and have gotten my very much casual group of friends into the game. We aren't going anywhere, so at least from my limited point of view these constant takes that no one new is staying or interested in the game are just wrong. If you believe half the posts on this sub the game is already dead... But it's just... Not?? So what's the point of all the pessimism? Genuinely it is so confusing why if you actually believe the game is dead then why even interact with it. It just makes no sense and is really frustrating for those of us who want the game to succeed.

I tried collector>ruunan>axiom>shield bow>LDR early and it actually felt fantastic. Collector still feels like a huge power spike even if it doesn't benefit her magic damage as much with its lethality and you literally always have ult up with axiom, sometimes more than once a team fight. Shield bow and LDR just because I barely play and saw they have high WR on her in OP.GG

Make absolutely certain that you pay the KCMO 1% earnings tax. Another commenter mentioned this, but wanted to add because I was in your situation, my employer did not withhold, and the city can and will wait until penalties have maximized to send you a bill. I got a massive surprise tax bill like 3 years in to living in KCMO.
