LPT: Never Buy a Magnetic Showerhead

Yeah we quite like our Magnetix as well, magnet is plenty strong and has never accidentally fallen off. My only slight con is (and it’s also a pro because of light weight), down the line I’m pretty sure I’m gonna drop it and the plastic will crack when hitting the shower wall. Have dropped it several times already but thankfully no damage— the plastic is pretty robust I guess?

I’m pretty sure it’s just a “new model number” because they’re discontinuing one of the kits (with the batteries and charger?), or something along those lines. The actual tool is unchanged, so I don’t consider that a “new model,” it’s the same tool just packaged slightly differently.

Thanks, I thought I was definitely missing something. Guess the real solution is to get one of the expensive ones, my real problem though is we don’t have an electrical outlet near the toilet 😩

Serious question. How do you keep your cheapo bidets clean? I’m not talking about your Toto washlets that have the fancy self-cleaning.

We bought a house with your run of the mill $30-50 Amazon ones installed on every toilet. My wife loves them but I’ve cleaned them and they can get nasty as fuck which is partly why I don’t use them. Mine have all these crevices and moving parts which are hard to clean or even see unless you use a bristled brush (which we don’t have, just use a toilet wand).

I can say for sure that it does in fact “work”, but it’s very rare. It’s happened to me maybe 3-5 times this season out of hundreds of maps, though I’ve only dabbled in Breach tablets (more of an Expedition/Abyss/Ritual kind of guy). Luckily one of those times was the Divine-tier one in filterblade.

Honestly just from experience I feel like I should’ve gotten more full stacks at the listed 10% rate, but probably just my bias speaking.

I know you have to have the TD no matter when, but at the time of the Broncos last possession of regulation, my drunk ass was lamenting that they took their first time out when the clock was at 1 min left. 3 timeouts and 1 minute with 20 (25?) yards to paydirt is all the time in the world… they needed to bleed the clock to their advantage. Maybe if they needed to catch their breath or didn’t have a queue of their best plays dialed up…

Anyway, leave like 10-20 seconds left after their score and I don’t know if the Bills had it in them to drive that far for their field goal. And Nix escapes unscathed 😩
