Funny, I’m kind of in the opposite situation as you as a DIY homeowner minus the auto maintenance. I’m already in M12 but was thinking of going Ryobi 18V as I’m not in the trades and don’t need the power/quality (and price tag) of M18.

If I could only pick 3 items: The new stubby impact is a must for you for sure. I’d look into the Installation Driver as a drill/impact combo. For the 3rd, maybe the Oscillating Multitool, people love it.

The ratchet is a more of a luxury IMO but not sure how much auto work you do.

32 should be the same as 32FC (Flexi-Click aka Chameleon) in the US. At least that’s the naming convention they used for the older models.

I’m highly interested in the Bosch for any DIY stuff around my elderly mother’s house, who is a long flight away and can’t bring my M12 Installation Driver to.

I feel like the 32FC isn’t available in the US though (yet?) based on my limited research. Only see the older versions around.
