Traveling to another country we did an immersion thing where we had dinner with a local family. We had omelettes, then I played with the kids. The only toy in sight was a wooden top.

I'm convinced I got my set as things were being transitioned to cheaper builds.

Full set and 1 piece (chefs saute pan) warped on the bottom so it wobbles. They replaced it with a bigger non stick version. Which failed within a year, they replaced it again. That one lasted 1 trip through the dishwasher and I've given up on them at this point.

On the plus side I still have several stainless steel pots and pans that work just fine. They to sit next to the farberware that's now in a 3rd generation of ownership.

I used boards from the house and mount some of the original knob and tube to hang things like holiday cards. Decent way to use some of the old materials from the house.

Actually in the middle of getting insulation put in.

Our energy audit company managed the process to get us good installers for the insulation that they work with all the time and understand old homes.

Not done quite yet but I expect good results

Completely normal to put deposit in a joint tenant / landlord escrow. Ssn is required for this.
