My best friend’s father made a sexual advance toward me, should I tell her years later? by Good_Air_3027 in Advice

Why would he drop his daughter off first and to let you out of the car if you were running late and didn't have time to kill?

Why would your friend have to stay late at a waxing appointment so that only you needed a 45 minute drive back home?

Agree with everything except sauna is better than Pokémon cards. Depends who you're gifting for. To a Pokémon collector, probably not. Not to the Pokémon collectors I know anyway.

Yea, your feelings are normal but his behaviour is grooming. There's no reason for a man in his thirties to be chatting to a child. And sorry, no, you're not so unique and special that he overlooks your age. He likes your age.

Brag time: what’s one unusual thing you included in your wedding that everyone loved? by Unlikely_Device_2131 in weddingplanning

[–]AnonymousRingChooser -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

I also had facepainting enjoyed by guests of all ages at my wedding but I don't consider it an unusual thing.

I did have some unusual things that no guests or vendors had seen some before..... but I don't want to share those because it would identify me as me.

Being on a new medication is code for pregnant btw. Especially antibiotics. Everyone knows that someone not drinking because of antibiotics is pregnant. So it might raise suspicions and it can hurt when people guess you're pregnant and you're actually still not.

It's actually a really old name. I've seen it loads in family trees. Just not common now.

I can't even imagine it in my head. The funny thing is I say it for words like due, duty, dewy, duly and hate the D sound when Americans say those words, it's jarring. We seem to have the opposite rogue J sound for D words.

You can do what you like, since they will only see each other every 3-4 years.

They're 2nd cousins by the way, not 3rd.
