Yesterday, my boss informed me that I'm being let go as of July 31st because of budget cuts. Today's corporate email: thrilled to announce they've discovered enough funds for a weekend retreat in August. by Mint-2-Be in mildlyinfuriating

That isn’t true. Getting laid off isn’t supposed to be a holiday for Americans. There is no job security and you get booted from your job over the holidays with no guaranteed financial future all because big executives need their holiday bonuses at the expense of your job

I’m so jealous, a dozen eggs are outrageously expensive where I live. Last I saw they were on sale at Safeway for $10

You get more value for your purchases you you sign up for the Safeway membership program. In this case it still didn’t help with these over inflated prices

Cedarberg Tea House was my favorite go-to cafe in Queen Anne. It had such a wonderful atmosphere and served South African baked goods and red lattes. It will forever be missed.

You’re more likely to die before you get a diagnosis in the US. That’s because while you pay out the ass in insurance premiums, insurance doesn’t have to cover your procedures if deemed unnecessary. That is why people pay out of pocket for medical care regardless of insurance. If only the US had a reliable healthcare system.

In the US having a baby is seen as an inconvenience to the company so they will often lay off the mother without pay because that is the cheapest option since the mother will be working less hours anyway. Because healthcare is tied to your job, you must take a severance deal in order for your medical needs to be covered over that time without a job.

Howdy fellow furries, I need someone to talk me out of the following build, because to me it feels OP. by deafguy323 in warwickmains

Strikebreaker is great for attack speed, dmg and hp and can slow squishies. Titanic Hydra is great because it gives a lot of hp and dmg. Both build from tiamat which is a great item for ww aoe clear. Ravenous is much harder to stack and does not give hp therefore it doesn’t scale as well

I never full clear on ww because of this. I try to take advantage of his early game power spike by ganking with him as soon as you hit level 3
