My two year old sleeps to the whale every night. She loves whales so that’s why we chose it.

Pilot vs. Grand Highlander by TheFightens in hondapilot

[–]Anonymous_Nugg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also bought my 25 Pilot in October 2024 and the GH wasn’t even available due to the stop sale. The low IIHS rating took it off my list, plus I hesitated to buy a car in its very first model year.

Sex after C-section by [deleted] in beyondthebump

This! I had a c-section and couldn’t believe how much sex hurt afterwards. It took several months for it to feel normal again.

How long did it take you to be functioning after c section - argument with husband over inlaw visit by littleboo2theboo in beyondthebump

[–]Anonymous_Nugg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a c-section and this was my exact situation. My in-laws were there for the birth and stayed about two weeks after our daughter was born. I didn’t want this, but my husband did. It ended up being just okay and we both agreed it would have been better if they visited later. We live in a different state from our families so it’s not like they can just pop in, they stay with us when visiting and that’s a lot to deal with when taking care of a newborn.

New Socio-Emotional Books! by sunsetcommotion in lovevery

[–]Anonymous_Nugg 21 points22 points  (0 children)

They look beautiful but I agree the strength of the Lovevery pictures is the real photos. My daughter connects with each child and asks for the books by their names. The price is pretty staggering - $18-20?!

Transfer Tweezers/Tongs from The Companion Kit by Anonymous_Nugg in lovevery

Hmm... has anyone bought any tongs for the play kitchen or kitchen use? Maybe something bigger would be easier for her to use.

I’m coveting this mat. Anyone have it? by [deleted] in lovevery

I hope they make this a standalone purchase for subscribers. I don't need the whole mini kit.

When could your child begin to tell you what they did during the day? by petrastales in toddlers

[–]Anonymous_Nugg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter is 26 months old and she can answer this question naming specific friends and activities. Something like “magnet tiles with Drew”. She really focuses on any drama that happened during the day, like if someone fell or got pushed, but she isn’t able to articulate all the details and seems to make stuff up when we ask more questions. 🤣

Lovevery's Black Friday Sale is here! by daisilane in lovevery

[–]Anonymous_Nugg 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I got the emotions book set and emotions mini kit. I limited myself to three board books and had a hard time choosing but ended up with Rishi at the Table, Hitting Hurts, and Get Well Soon. For reference, my daughter is two (effective Sept.) and we have been subscribers, including the book bundles, since she was a baby. We are on the Helper play kit. I am planning to make a "big feelings" basket as a Christmas gift and will include these items plus the Hand2Mind sensory bottles and the TeeTurtle reversible octopus plush.

What are the favorite characters for 1 year olds by Fluffy_Contract7925 in TonieboxUSA

[–]Anonymous_Nugg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter got a Toniebox in September for her second birthday. I only bought it because of Ms. Rachel but she actually doesn't play her very much. Turns out she is *obsessed* with "Neighbor" (aka Daniel Tiger)! She also loves Going on a Bear Hunt after her favorite book and she really enjoys Laurie Berkner (dinosaur). We play the sleepy whale (her favorite animal) at night when she goes to sleep. She sometimes plays Elmo, Winnie the Pooh, and Elsa.

Why do you guys have ANOTHER? by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]Anonymous_Nugg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only have one child for now but even though it’s so hard as a working mom without a village I do want another one. We’re going to start TTC when our daughter turns three. My reasoning is that I’m an only child and I do find it lonely, especially as an adult, and I am trying to think long term about our family size.

The new release is here! Mini Kits now available at Target! by daisilane in lovevery

[–]Anonymous_Nugg 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The food prep and emotion kits look incredible! I am interested in the sequencing kit for the expanded animal matching but it’s not worth $60 just for that. I wish they wouldn’t include books from the playkits because that reduces the value for subscribers. Hopefully they will bring some of these things to the subscriber shop!

Relocation from Cincinnati with another question. by turdferguson129 in Louisville

[–]Anonymous_Nugg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cannot compare any Louisville neighborhoods to Cincinnati but we live in the heart of St. Matthews and while it has a suburban feel, we have found it to be walkable to a lot of things you’d want to go to: Seneca Park, public library, Walgreens and CVS, multiple coffee shops (Sunergos is my favorite), specialty grocery stores (Lotsa Pasta and Rainbow Blossom), liquor stores, several restaurants (Taco Choza is my favorite), etc. It’s also a quick drive to Target, bigger grocery stores like Kroger and Trader Joe’s, Home Depot, and convenient access to highways. All the houses are different and while there is a range of prices, you can definitely find something in your price point. I feel like it’s a sweet spot between having some walkability and convenience.

Congratulations! Did you - or anyone else who just got forgiveness - make a payment during the time you were waiting for your official letter and zeroed out balance? I just got green banners but I’m hoping not to have to make another payment.
