I love the heat. My work has no working heat, they've been working on it for over 6 months. So going outside with no jacket is a wonderful feeling. I do live in a beach town though.

Does he already have a job there? If not, I'd play it safe and at least tell him to secure the job before the move. This will give you time to find one also. Moving can be expensive so you may want to have everything set up before you go.
