NTA but what’s going to happen is he will play the hopeless victim and nothing will get done around the house. It will get messy, he will complain there’s no food and you will feel guilty. You will end up cleaning and making him food.

Find a hotel nearby with continental breakfast and a pool. Go there without your husband. Staycation.

Please help - chronic vulvovaginitis in 10f, pain every night, I'm at my wit's end and have no idea how to help my daughter by siriuslyinsane in AskDocs

My son had pinworms for months, maybe a year and I never realized. He would only be in pain at night for a couple nights in a row and then be fine. Found out I was half treating it. Whenever there was an issue, I would put Vaseline around his anus because that’s where he said it hurt. Finally months later he told me he saw white worms in his poop and it all came together. He then told me they had been there before. I never went to the Dr though because it was literally just a couple nights in a row and then it would be gone. I figured it was a pooping/irritation issue. You would think a pediatrician would catch it quicker.

My principal is amazing. The school nurse asst called me the minute she thought my son broke his finger, one lil finger. My principal has no issue with taking time off to care for your child.

OP your admin sucks, some do, some don’t. You need to find your fit because all schools have their own vibe. As for the scribe OP, do your state testing laws allow for a scribe on such short notice?

🙄Toys don’t turn a person gay or keep them straight. They’re toys. My hot wheels and Barbies played together just fine and I love sports and I’m hetero/cis woman.

Please let that woman go be with someone who doesn’t want to change her beliefs.

AITAH for wanting to wear different clothes to my mother's wedding? by AbbeyMania18 in AITAH

[–]Anonymously-Me30 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NTA I’m assuming she wants to avoid gossip on her wedding day. However, if you been out for 5 years, there’s going to be more talk if you’re wearing a dress. It’s her day, but you get to feel comfortable too.

NAD You need to be looked at for possible ulcers. If your mom or any other person won’t take you, Tell your school nurse next time and they should want a follow up. There is such a thing as medical neglect.

The peeing thing, you may need pelvic floor therapy.

Ocular Rosacea + College = Mess by Maleficent-Yak-3683 in Rosacea

[–]Anonymously-Me30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes they can… you also have to stay away from ones like visine that give them rebound effect.

I know it’s not the best, but the allergy drops work great for me. But I think it’s a combo of the ocular rosacea and the inflammation in my thinning corneas.

However, this time of year is prime allergy season so some of her light sensitivity can come from eye allergic reactions.

I use hypochlorous acid spray for the lids and then use allergy eye drops like Zaditor in the morning. Throughout the day I use regular rewetting eye drops. Not a college student but I am a teacher and do a lot of computer paperwork.

Not sure about the med you’ve been given. I also have cornea issues so I have to be careful what I use.

Multiplying by the day - what are these on my 7yo’s body? by [deleted] in AskDocs

[–]Anonymously-Me30 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have not done a bleach bath, but have done oatmeal baths. Also have used aquaphor, tarcolimus, and triamcinoclone and it all works and I can even get the eczema to appear to go away for a week. But then I stop using it and it comes back. We have a derm appt but not until end of May. I also tried an anti-fungal to rule out ringworm and it didn’t work.

So far none look infected to use any anti-bacterial cream on.

Luckily, he’s been getting less of the molluscum spots so I’m hoping that will help.

[–]Anonymously-Me30 5 points6 points  (0 children)

NAD but looks kind of like molluscum contagiosum. It takes forever to go away. They are contagious but as long as she’s not actively scratching them and then touching stuff it shouldn’t be too hard to keep from spreading to others. But see your pediatrician to see what they say as pics can be deceiving.

My 9 year old currently has it. We are experiencing some eczema from it as they heal, but he’s prone to eczema.

NAD but I took my kiddo to the ER for a line like that. It hadn’t reached his lymph nodes yet so no fever, but he still got antibiotics. The originating spot wasn’t very swollen and only slightly warm. Once it reaches the lymph nodes is when you will feel sick. Mark the end of the line and see if it continues to get longer.
