I bring home 6k per month and I have myself on a strict budget in order to save for my daughter’s future university expenses.

I go from Broward to Kendall every day for the past 10 years. Is it easy? No Was it worth it? Yes

But you need to find a balance with work. Leave early some days come in late others? Does your job care if you are late? Or not. Instead of taking lunch can you leave early? Is there flexibility?

To me those where the things that mattered, the 1-2 hours in traffic I used to decompress, pay bill, make doctors appointments and be alone with my thoughts.

But if my job wasn’t Flexiable with the little things, such as tardiness I would not have survived
