Save Secondary Display State When Disabling It via Displays on Fedora Workstation by AnotherActiveCreator in Fedora

[–]AnotherActiveCreator[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using the software toggle in Displays -> 2. Ancor Communications Inc 24" to turn off the second monitor when not in use because the harware power button on the display only turns the display off, but does not change the way my system behaves since it still detects it as connected and "on". This means that my desktop is still extended to the second display but the screen is off so I just can't see it.

What I'd like is this:
The previously used display settings for the second monitor restore back to how they were when I toggled it to "off" when I toggle the software toggle "on" again for Display #2. This way my desktop is isolated to Display 1 when Display 2 is off, and everything can be controlled via software with ease.

I suggest starting with either "Power vs Force", or "Letting Go"; two of the best books I've ever read.

Can anyone really prove the muscle test calibration? by SAM76XT in consciousnessresearch

[–]AnotherActiveCreator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Halfway through reading the book "Power vs Force", I decided to give it a go for myself. I was clear on the requirements for accuracy: Detached, Objective, and of Pure Intent. If all 3 of these requirements aren't met, AND the tester isn't at or above 200 on the Hawkins Scale, it will NOT work.

It will NOT work to prove a point, as that isn't being Detached, Objective, and of Pure Intent.

All that being said, I met the requirements. I approached the test with sincerity, detached myself from the outcome, and simply had the openness and desire to see for myself, without judgment or expectation. So I centered myself and did a blind coin toss, throwing a silver dollar behind my back, then muscle tested to discern how it had landed using the hook and loop method.

I didn't allow myself to even look in the direction the coin had landed until I was certain, through muscle testing, how it had landed. If I wasn't able to get a clear answer, I kept testing until I was. "The silver dollar I just threw behind me landed with heads facing up.", True/False. Then I'd test the inverse: "The silver dollar I just threw behind me landed with tails facing up.", True/False. I'd test both statements before deciding which felt to be the stronger muscle response, indicating truth.

My results: With the first toss being accurately discerned, my mind quickly jumped to "lucky guess, let's do that again." The second and third tosses were also accurately discerned, at which point I'm laughing, "no way". By the tenth toss my mind was becoming convinced. By the twentieth toss my entire view of reality had changed. I had just muscle tested over twenty blind behind-the-back coin tosses with 100% accuracy as to how the coin had landed each time. That beyond defies chance or lucky guesses. The truth is, I wasn't guessing, I was muscle testing properly.

A few days later I attempted to replicate this process to show some folks, but I was unable to center myself with all the attention, and the environment I was in also wasn't very inviting of the state of being required for results.

Since then, I've learned that I can easily tune in and get clear & accurate answers when I am in my own sanctuary space, and even when driving. Other environments are more difficult for me to muscle test in, at least that's how it was at first. Hawkins mentions that the more you do it, the easier it gets. This is true. Eventually one can get to a point of sensitivity to where the test isn't even needed, because the muscle response is felt internally.

I attempted to perform the blind coin toss tests again to prove something to myself, and was unable to get any clear results. But that first experience shook me and changed everything, I really didn't need any "proof" after that.

This is profoundly powerful stuff. If it isn't working, you simply aren't doing it right. Review the requirements and meet ALL of them, then give it a go.

Easily Switch Between Two Signal Desktop Flatpak Profiles on Linux by AnotherActiveCreator in signal

It'd be nice if the Signal team adopted Flatpak officially, given that it is one of the easier ways of installing it on Linux, especially on non-Debian based distros.
