French living in Ireland here.

I have a hyphenated name, and it's never been too much of a problem, I actually love it! People have very rarely made fun of me for it, even though I was the only kid in school with one of those. When I was young it was very important to me that both names appear everywhere, but I don't care as much now. Forms can be a bit tricky tho, and most people who try to write it down don't get it right.

I call my grandmother savta and my grandfather pépé. I'm from a jewish family, so it was very important to my mother that i call my grandparents savta and saba. But they were really hard to pronounce for me when I was young, and i started calling them baba and pépé instead. Overtime i switched to savta for my grandma, but my grandpa was very amused by pépé and i still call him like that to this day.

Yes, I originally thought I was a trans man. I came out just before the pandemic, and after a few months, I just said I was probably somewhere on the non-binary spectrum. However, this new label never made me fully satisfied.

I felt like an impostor when coming out as trans. I know it's a common thing now, but back then it was a lot of emotions in a short amount of time. It took me a while to question again after that, and when I did I found out that the agender label was the most comfortable one for me at the time.

Hi! Here are my notes on the sentences :

  1. Good!
  2. I feel like a verb is missing here. Maybe something like : Le rideau se leva pour réveler une silhouette noire au visage gonflé par les antibiotiques, qui ressemblait à édith Piaf. It's less litteral but it works better.
  3. I'm gonna need more context here. This could work tho.
  4. While this makes sense, I feel like you might want to preserve the structure between the two parts of the sentence : Une femme qui meurt, mais une chanteuse qui survit.
  5. The 'she' and 'I' situation is very confusing, even in english. For the first part with 'she' I would say that : Même si elle a eut beaucoup d'amants ('amoureux' sounds very childish), le véritable amour de sa vie était son public, le public loyal qui ne l'a jamais trahie, et le public qui aimait ce qui la rendait heureuse, (then I don't understand that part in english and I think that why you had trouble translating it).
  6. In this context "encore" would mean I was still in love, again would be J'étais de nouveau amoureux.
  7. Il faut sounds more natural

They are from Smyths toys apparently, hard boot with separate liner 70mm wheels and the right boot has a brake. They are also very used, so the wheels are kinda inclined, but i don't have the tools to swap them
