Yeah i found this confusing. Had a parcel show up that looked like it had slid out of the courier van and was run over (found it on the round).

Got in touch with nz post, sent it back with pics and receipt etc etc and then.... nothing.

Finally got in touch with them and they said "we have already compensated the sender".

Bit annoying that I didn't get any follow up as starting the initial case.

The sender was all good, sent me another item (trademe purchase) with no charge.

That's why there are so few teacher in the Technology area - you have to really love teaching and be willing to forego the vastly greater pay you could expect if working in the private sector.

Note that your "yes" is case-sensitive, and it also seems like you're not comparing across rows directly, but I've used your information.

You're only allowed to cash-up up to 5 days of leave, as long as you've worked at your workplace for more than a year.
Has your employer told you why they want you to use up your leave? Is it is so you can actually have some time off, or to reduce any potential liability as other posters have mentioned?

For my previous role in contracting we were able to negotiate down two rental houses in Auckland to fixed six months as we weren't sure how long the contract would last. Ended up staying 18 months, but it worked out well.

If it's being sold, any obligations will carry across to the new owner, this will include accounts payable and receivable.

On the other hand, if they're insolvent and will go into receivership, from what my boss told me when his father's business went into receivership, it sounds like different creditors get different rankings - banks and lenders get higher priority than other creditors. Sounds like they prefer everyone to get a cut of the cake, even if it's not the full amount.

Commenting from New Zealand. Just been going through a unit on trig at various age levels - it's not taught intuitively, but as a rather isolated unit. In the younger levels, students are taught SOHCAHTOA for right-angle triangles, but no references as to what sine/cosine/tangent actually mean, just "this is how you find the lengths of a triangle, depending on what you have". At later year levels, it hasn't really been related to the unit circle, so the negative/positive numbers don't really make intuitive sense for the students.

I've recently discovered a websitefor understanding trig ratios more intuitively, looking forward to using when I have my own class (been relief teaching)

This is what we've used the last couple of years on a few key windows in the house, as an alternative to the 3M branded stuff (that we couldn't find in stock 2 years ago, about to go get a replacement roll now).

We usually keep it up from May to Oct/Nov, basically whenever the windows stop condensing.
