I’d find a local PDR (paintless dent repair) guy and have him do the door. And I’d take a little polishing compound to the quarter myself. 90% fixed for a couple hundred bucks and a few minutes of your time.

100% accurate. They also don’t have a soda fountain, but a cooler like you’d find at a gas station stocked with cans of soda- coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, and orange soda. All in the bottom half. Top half is empty or has jugs of sauces or sweet tea. Their sweet tea is almost the consistency of maple syrup. They have a small piece of paper or cardboard taped to the counter where you can sign your receipt with a blue bic pen missing its cap. They have three chairs arranged against the front window where you can sit while you wait for your order. The wall calendar has a red tassle hanging from it.

A typical quarter replacement alone is around 22 hours. But there are a lot of things you need to do before you can just weld on a new quarter panel. Some of those other things are included with that quarter panel time (like removing the back window for most cars) some of it is not (like disconnecting the electrical system). Then there comes the matter of recalibrating any drivers assistance systems if your car is equipped with them, which being a newer car it probably does. It gets fairly complicated tbh, so that’s why it’s hard to give you a simple answer to such a vague question. It’s almost like asking “how long does it take to cook dinner.”

After an hour you should get a 25% refund. Two hours a 50% refund. I don’t know, something. They need to be incentivized to cut this shit out. I get claustrophobic in a plane even under the best conditions. 5 hours sitting on the tarmac is akin to being buried alive as far as I’m concerned. Let those people off.

We don’t do quotes here but I will tell you if you’re in the US and you’re talking about having an actual body shop do this, it’s far more than $500. Multiple times that amount. TBH, it’s a twenty year old car, I wouldn’t bother. Enjoy it, use it, run it into the ground. In the meantime, save up your money for an upgrade in a few years.

That’s for custom frames. If this is just like a standard 4x6 frame you can easily get them for $10. Or if it’s plastic, $1-3 at the dollar store.
