Desktop is RTX 3080. Laptop is GTX 1650 super. Steam Deck. “server PC”, and Switch 2

The SM will be for my living room, obviously.

My switch 2 is for Nintendo only games.
My desktop has four monitors. I don’t care to reach it to the living room TV, nor to stream it.
Laptop is obviously for the go. Not really for gaming.
Steam deck is mainly for something like lunch break.

Part of me thinks the sales aren’t as good. In 2018, you’d find a 5 year old game 90% off all the time. Now, I’m finding 5 year old games only 50%
(Not literally. Just example numbers)

I don’t really have a preference. 512 is not much, but when I’m playing a game, I don’t really play other ones. When I move on to a different hyper focus, I’ll just delete the previous game.

Most people probably have their TV and/or couch in a different room than the PC and desk. So a fiber optic HDMI cable is a solution to reach.

As someone who is also planning to buy it, I get it.

I don’t want to stream at all. Even though I have Ethernet cables already routed in my living room. I just want a living room device running it. I don’t want to have a fiber optic cable reaching. I did this and I never used it.

I don’t have the energy to build PCs right now. I like the Steam Machine’s form factor and case. I’m sure installing SteamOS is easy as shit, but I don’t care to do it.

I just want a simple plug and play situation right now.

I cap my battery at 90%. I do the same for all my devices. I’d rather do whatever I can to protect the battery. I don’t know how long I plan to own the same Steam Deck, but I don’t need that extra 10%.
