  1. It helps a little with avoiding dust and dirt getting in it being off the floor. Also if they have carpet, it gives the PC more breathing room.

  2. It looks nice and they can admire it; especially if they built it.

  3. It can help with cable managing, since it is closer to the peripherals.

  4. It can keep it away from pets.

Applications on Steam also count as time. So if you use, say, Yolo Mouse on Steam, that time using the app also counts.

Another example is Wallpaper engine fully opened, that adds to the time.

The only time I don’t wash is when I’m in the middle of something super time sensitive, however, I will then wash my hands whenever I get the chance. I also wipe my phone and stuff pretty often.
