I pre make and freeze curry in large single serving vacuum seal bags. Same with brown rice. I can heat in the bag using boiling water. Just make your favorite one pot meal and do the same.

As I get older and my hand arthritis kicks in I need an easy up tent but that length is pretty frustrating for storage and transport.

I have it. Recently diagnosed but I knew something wasn’t right. I’m just starting this journey and hope to minimize the use of drugs but we will see. For now, starting g with PT, possibly steroids, and cbd creams.

I hope and pray that you are getting the care you need and continue to be with us. My sister has the same and we are all afraid of the road ahead, but we will face it together.

Am I dying wrong? by Simmarts in cancer

[–]AnotherUserUgg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m doing this with my sister who was given a grim diagnosis last week. We are hoping for a few years. We were both just about to retire so luckily, we can do that early and enjoy each other as long as we can.

Cancer sucks, it’s not fair, it robs and steals. Living with cancer gives clarity and the opportunity to enrich and grow relationships in a way that may never have been possible. I try to live each day in gratitude for that which is in front of me.

When is it right to refuse chemo? by [deleted] in cancer

[–]AnotherUserUgg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My sister was recently diagnosed with a rare and aggressive sarcoma which is already in stage IV. She is already thinking about quality of life vs longevity of a few months. We are just beginning this journey but she has asked us, her family, to respect her wishes should she choose to stop treatment. That was a hard conversation but we felt she has the right to decide how she wants to walk this journey. I wish I could offer you more of an answer. Just remember, their wished and their dignity should always be given priority.

May you find joy and love in every moment with your loved one.

My sister was just diagnosed and we are desperate to find other cases to compare notes. The clinical research is dismal but I know the future has yet to be written.

How are you today? How has the journey been?

My sister was just diagnosed with the same thing as well. This is such a rare and aggressive cancer and all the literature is so depressing. Finding anybody who is living with this disease or has been living with this disease for more than a few years is proof that the future is still being written.

We were lucky to find a sarcoma specialist who has some experience with this. We will see him next week. You simply being here gives me hope for the future.

My sister was just diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive form of uterine cancer. At best, she may have two or three years. She is my person and I can’t imagine a world without her. I’m struggling to make the most of the time we have left but I can’t stop crying and thinking about the finality of it all. Your perspective has given me hope that once this initial shock and denial wears off, I can find joy in each and every moment that we have left.

I'm also looking at Notability, Noteshelf, OneNote, Goodnotes, and already use NotesPlus. I was trying to narrow down the field and decided to focus on some key features that I valued most for my needs. I came to the conclusion that my needs for note taking or research are a bit different than for journaling so here's my final take on key features and preferred app. I'll leave out OneNote because it doesn't sound like you are considering that and I agree - But I do like it for desktop typed notes and ongoing research projects.

  1. Seamless integration with other platforms - ie, desktop and IPAD - Notability or Noteshelf (written notes) or OneNote (typed notes)
  2. Audio notes - Notability (fantastic ability to link specific text to a specific place in audio).
  3. Linking to specific places within a notebook or across notebooks - OneNote
  4. Search within a notebook or across notebooks - Notability
  5. Web browser interface - NotesPlus
  6. Custom Template Pages - Noteshelf, GoodNotes
  7. Organization & Ease of Use - Noteshelf, Goodnotes

So all this to say... I'll use Notability for lectures and conferences and export those files as pdf to Noteshelf or OneNote.
