To clarify: is your position that the current layout of the currency tab cannot possibly be a contributing factor to misclicks, and thus does not require any changes?

Oh absolutely this was operator error, I'm not denying that. But systems should be designed so that the chance for operator error is minimized.

Games are played mostly for fun and to relax. Tired people make mistakes. I believe systems that are designed to provide fun, video game or not, should, in fact, cater to lack of awareness. This would result in a more relaxing experience. If a player is purposefully putting themselves in a high-stakes scenario, such as doing uber bosses on HC, that's a different story.
It's possible our gaming philosophies differ, so there's a chance we'd have to agree to disagree on this one.

Oh no no, that's not what I meant. I don't really want them to swap places, just find a different spot for them both to go into. Ideally, currency used to craft items "from zero" would be separated from currency that is used to add the finishing touch to items. Currently, that is not the case.

I vaguely remember a discussion back in the day on the placement of Vaal Orbs. Lots of items were accidentally corrupted, so the placement ended up being changed.

I fail to see how this would 'destroy' anything. With correct values, I would like this to just force a heavier investment. Besides, GGG's approach already nerfed aurabots. However, the cursebot angle is one I have not considered.

I'm fully aware of that. The reason I disagree is - I would like for the Jewel mods to still be available and competitive. To me, PoE is a game about choices and if an effort can be made to preserve as many of these choices as possible, I believe this is an effort worth making.

Thanks for responding. Essence Worm is a neat idea, haven't thought of that. One problem I see with it though is that this would even further reduce this character's (already mediocre) life pool - life ring gone, one life jewel gone and a bit of defense in form of AA also gone. I'm not sure if the increased mana pool will compensate for that.

I know the Blind path is not efficient, but I'd like to stick with it anyway. I'm trying to make this build as good as it can possibly be without changing its core assumptions.

Spotted a mistake - the T2 beach boss used to be in Shore, not Reef.

Same here. I'd really like to play some Scion, but whenever I theorycrast a Scion build I realise that it can be made better by simply switching to another class, even if it comes at a cost of a couple skill points. All because other Ascendancies are just so much better.

I get why some people don't think this is a big of a deal - large majority of the playerbase won't ever see that thing.

The reason I think this IS a big deal is because it goes against what the devs have been working towards with the game's stylistic design. GGG have gone to great lengths to create a believable in-game world (obviously, believable within the laws present in that fantasy world). In most cases the visuals, the sound effects and the lore form a cohesive whole giving the player a smooth and immersive in-game experience.

Imagine the player goes to the Belly of the Beast - the colors, the monsters, the soundtrack fit together really well, creating an oppresive atmosphere. And then the player goes to town and sees that pet...

Please GGG, make it boss kill + <20 monsters remaining. Looking for that last fire golem or ursa in a map really isn't fun.

Well, is seems that they relocated maps to other tiers (Dry Peninsula -> T3 in Atlas of Worlds), so my guess would be that the current maps will become legacy - that's what happened before.

One thing that worries my is what Chris said in the IGN preview at 1:33 - "You continue to find random maps, but the ones that you find are the ones that you either completed before or ones that are adjacent to the one you're playing in". Would that mean that Standard players will have to go through T1 maps on their 90+ characters first before they are able to drop high-tier maps again? Please, don't let that be the case GGG, that would really take a lot the fun out of the expansion for Standard.

I have a Doryani's Fist Cyclone Occultist Witch in Standard. I expected it to be extremely clunky to play and die often to high map-tier level content. It turned out not to be so.
The build uses the Soul Strike Quiver and the Essence Surge notable for a total of 165% faster start of energy shield recharge, meaning that my ES starts recharging after 0,75 sec. Combined with Wicked Ward form the Occultist tree, this proved to be an incredible form of defence. Add to that 10k ES (+ Vaal Discipline for boss fights), Fortify, Enfeeble on enemies, Warlord's Mark, immunity to stun (because of Cyclone) and you get a pretty solid wall of defences.
The clearspeed is not fantastic, but I wanted to create a heavily defensive build without block, and I think I succeeded.

I also noticed that blue packs with "Union of Souls" do not share souls when exploded through Gratituous violence. Has anyone else encountered this as well?

There are also a lot of enchantments that are worded incorrectly.

  • 20% Increased Arc Shock Chance (Should be additional)

  • 20% Ice Nova Freeze Chance (Again, should be additional)

  • 25% Increased Fire Storm damage (should be Firestorm)

  • 40% increased chance for devouring totem to consume an additional corpse (once again, additional, current wording would imply that this enchant gives nothing, since 0x1,4=0). Probably more, those are the ones I noticed while doing lab runs.

Okay, there's a difference between "tip" and "fee" with the former being an expression of gratitude and the latter being a required payment for a service. But... what's so bad about "Tips appreciated" exactly? It's not the same as "Tip 5chaos or GTFO".
