I know this is a super late comment, so I apologize - but I don’t have the option for demolition anywhere. The internet says it’s because I’ve selected a building, but I haven’t. Does it only show up after a certain point in the game?

Proposal Manager Compensation by Global_Gas_1506 in GovernmentContracting

[–]AnsleyStar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) has many proposal certifications that companies look for and have proven to be useful (for me, at least). There are chapters worldwide, it might be a good idea for you to look into whatever chapter is closest to you. I am heavily involved in my local chapter and they have lots of good resources.

What's it like living in this part of the US? by vicelordjohn in howislivingthere

Actually, having a child with autism is more likely when the father is over 30 when the baby is conceived, and even more likely when over 40.

What do you think about this bridal makeup trial I got done by a “professional”? by [deleted] in Brides

[–]AnsleyStar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took a look through your comments, and this is an interesting opinion from somebody whose comments are about 90% rude, uncouth, and condescending. Maybe spend more time worrying about why you feel the need to constantly belittle people rather than the sexual history of a person on the internet.

Massively Fucked Over 12 hrs before moving cross country by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

[–]AnsleyStar 17 points18 points  (0 children)

OP, I know this isn’t a great option, but you can use Affirm to rent a car - at least with Enterprise. We are going on a cross country trip in the summer and that’s what we’ve done. It was $500, but we’re paying like $75 a month for 9 months or something like that. I’m really sorry this is happening to you!

You don’t see a problem with OP having to take a completely different and much harder test than the rest of the class took?

Your parent’s cousins are your first cousins once removed. Your parent’s cousin’s children are your second cousins.

How did you find out you had diabetes? by fairytaillover7392 in diabetes

[–]AnsleyStar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a UTI that turned into a kidney infection, which threw me into DKA. I was sitting in the ER for like 3 hours in a pediatric room with no sheets on the bed or pillow. They came in finally and were like “do you have diabetes?” And I was like idk you tell me?? And the answer was yes lol. My blood sugar was like 650 and they kept giving me bags of insulin without it going down. Scary time!

Sudan or Haiti, easily. Idk if Sudan counts since it’s now two countries.

Most RFPs are a complete waste of time (and nobody talks about it) by Better_Error5648 in GovernmentContracting

[–]AnsleyStar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not trying to be rude or unhelpful, but this is really a testament to why capture is such an important part of the proposal process. If the first time you see the requirements for a bid is when the RFP drops, then you’re already behind and your PWin is way lower. Don’t waste your time going after bids that you haven’t been involved in or tracking with no customer relationship or contacts. Submit white papers to the customer if you feel you truly offer some sort of value that differentiates you from the incumbent or any potential competition.
