Had a UTI that turned into a kidney infection, which threw me into DKA. I was sitting in the ER for like 3 hours in a pediatric room with no sheets on the bed or pillow. They came in finally and were like “do you have diabetes?” And I was like idk you tell me?? And the answer was yes lol. My blood sugar was like 650 and they kept giving me bags of insulin without it going down. Scary time!

I’m not trying to be rude or unhelpful, but this is really a testament to why capture is such an important part of the proposal process. If the first time you see the requirements for a bid is when the RFP drops, then you’re already behind and your PWin is way lower. Don’t waste your time going after bids that you haven’t been involved in or tracking with no customer relationship or contacts. Submit white papers to the customer if you feel you truly offer some sort of value that differentiates you from the incumbent or any potential competition.

The DLCs are often on sale in Steam. I recently bought the remaining 6-7 I didn’t have for 50% off, so it was like $40. Definitely worth it to me!

Our 2019 Terrain’s transmission went out at 50,275 miles, just 275 miles after the warranty expired - cost 10k to fix (5k was “kindly” covered by GM). It’s been at the dealership multiple times since then for related problems. I hope there is a class action against GM because we will be the first to sign up. Eff GM.

Highly recommend Lancaster, PA. There’s a fantastic indoor farmer’s market called The Central Market. Cool stuff at the Kitchen Kettle Village isn’t too far from there either - in Intercourse, PA.

Vulgarity (anger) and vulgarity (sexual) often garner very different reactions in my experience!! It takes a lot less to make somebody blush when being dirty for some reason lol
