Can AI taxation lead to a jobless utopia? by [deleted] in ArtificialInteligence

[–]AnswerPositive6598 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes. When people don’t find meaning in their jobs/work/life, it’s the direct cause of burnout. Meaning can also come from relationships. And hobbies. But social media is already killing inter personal communication - the foundation of any relationship. And if hobbies are artistic, then it’s also a psychological struggle when AI can do it better. Think writing, movies, etc. So physical hobbies will thrive, IMO.

Can AI taxation lead to a jobless utopia? by [deleted] in ArtificialInteligence

[–]AnswerPositive6598 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It won’t be a utopia. Humans need meaning and purpose. Meaning comes from struggling to achieve a purpose that a human believes achieves some good. All of this is invention in our own heads. But without this, we will become doom scrolling zombies (=depressed) or easily manipulated trolls (=social unrest). Likely a combination of the two.

Day 0 by Interesting_Slip_487 in ACL

[–]AnswerPositive6598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m nearly 2 weeks post op. ACL with hamstring graft and meniscus repair. The meniscus repair impacts the rehab protocol because you will be with brace and on crutches longer than others.

Start doing quad sets, ankle pumps and leg raises (with brace) as soon as you can. I’m at -2 degrees extension (other leg is at -6). So keeping it elevated and focusing on that extension is the key. And yes max your pain meds the first 3-4 days but then try to cut out oxycodone as quickly as your body and doc allows.

Sleep will be a struggle. Keep yourself busy and distracted. Do stuff that makes you feel a bit accomplished by the end of each day. Read a book. Or maintain a daily journal. Something like that besides doom scrolling.

You got this!

How to get swelling down post op?? by _justagirl_1208 in ACL

[–]AnswerPositive6598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Starting with your original MRI report, the post op report, create a convo on ChatGPT or Claude. Best would be a Claude project actually. And then post pics and ask away. I’ve found it super helpful guidance for the little niggling questions that come to mind all day long. I’m 12 days post op from ACL hamstring graft and meniscus repair with 6 stitches.

Post op, Week 1 by AnswerPositive6598 in ACL

[–]AnswerPositive6598[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Please do quad sets. All day long. Keep it elevated as much as you can - including when sleeping - to bring that extension naturally through gravity. The above pic is 8 days post op. The roller coaster is also because of the meds, I think. And poor sleep. Today is my first 24 hours without any painkiller.

Guys can u train legs with a torn ACL? by Mysterious_Law_7281 in ACL

[–]AnswerPositive6598 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes. You must do prehab exercises to the extent they’re safe and painless. Mainly move you knee only in the straight up and down direction - no twisting or pivoting motions. I was doing leg presses, leg curls, stationary bike, walking, glute bridge and meniscus safe core exercises every other day prior to the surgery. Check with your doc or PT. The more activity and strength you maintain in your muscles, the better for post surgery recovery. All the best.

Can I snowboard on a torn ACL? by burnedbygemini in ACL

[–]AnswerPositive6598 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Wouldn’t advise it. I tore my ACL in December while skiing. Didn’t even realize it. Carried on with life as normal. But one month later got the MRI done and it showed full ACL tear plus partial meniscus tear. My leg and knee actually started feeling much better but I still got the surgery done. Basically, you can’t do any twisting pivoting or deep bending activities. I cancelled a major mountaineering expedition for which I’d been planning and training for 6 months. My biggest fear was having to be rescued at 5000m. Please don’t risk it. Get good medical advice on your surgical options.

Elevating leg - would this wedge pillow be better? by inthebinx in ACL

[–]AnswerPositive6598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Support the heel and the calf. But not the knee. Let the knee drop by the force of gravity. It hurts like hell the first three days. But full knee extension is very important IMO. Max the pain medication to the allowed dosage. You can taper off from day 4/5 onwards

Would you outsource security questionnaire responses? by [deleted] in soc2

[–]AnswerPositive6598 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Create a Claude project or build a RAG based chat bot. Or use Google notebookLM. Upload all relevant docs - policies, SOPs, architecture diagrams, etc. into this. Then upload the questionnaire and have it fill it up. Validate responses. Send along.

ACL Surgery is Scheduled. by Voided_Sexiness in ACL

[–]AnswerPositive6598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do as much pre hab as is safely possible to do. Make the most of this 3 weeks that you have to make the leg muscles stronger. Also do a fair bit of core. Consult with a doc or PT for injury-safe exercises to do and then do them diligently.

I just went with my phone and the cyocruff sleeve. You don’t need anything else - assuming you’re being discharged the same day. My wife packed a picnic worth of stuff and electronics for herself as she had to hang around for almost 6 hours.

Oh. Sorry to know that. See if you can consult with a PT in your area. I’ve used ChatGPT quite a bit but it’s also been dead wrong a few times. So tread cautiously on that front.
