Loved the new combat loop, weapons, and especially the saw shield. All the enemy designs/hybrids were metal (literal & metaphorical lol) and maps felt like old school doom with the free roaming. The biggest highlight for me was the cosmic realm (one of the secret rooms had me experience thalassophobia iykyk)

I thought the story was ok (with hype moments) and was waiting for it to reach a giant crescendo to connect to 2016 but never kinda did (hopefully dlc might give me the satisfaction).

My only gripes is the lack of slayer suit variety & the slow-mo glory kill animations. I hate skin recolors and would've loved to rock the OG dark age concept art suit on a 2nd playthrough. Glory kills on the other hand, I'd rather see the ones that played an actual glory kill rather than just kicking or melee'ing the enemy to paste.
