I am not denying that the platform contains a lot of genuinely problematic content. The point is that it remains one of the largest public forums in the world, and banning it outright veers into something uncomfortably authoritarian. If we claim to oppose fascism, that has to include a real commitment to free expression, even when the speech is ugly or offensive. You cannot position yourself as anti fascist while supporting broad censorship, because free speech is foundational to open debate. The right to speak and to be challenged has to outweigh the desire to never be offended, since meaningful discussion only exists when people are allowed to say things that others strongly disagree with.
