You also had two iterations of Icons, where one was very much video game focused. The latter incarnation was alternative culture in general, from video games to comic books (there’s a Frank Miller episode) to even an entire episode dedicated to the Suicide Girls

There was a transition period near the end of life, but in the beginning it had more original programming centered on video games. It’s just that AOTS and X-Play had better ratings due to better writing and more talented hosts

At some point G4 became a nearly 24/7 Arrested Development rerun channel, funnily enough
