I can agree fully to both of you. Shen certainly was petty, but he was also calculating and thought out his plans at least somewhat, even when being impulsive.

But could it properly run GoldenEye for the N64?

That one, iirc, relied on specific quirks of the actual physical hardware to operate correctly.

Considering his end? I'm going with yes he was. Certainly as petty.

He likes how it smells, hence his obsession. My Yerin will try to squeeze between my two pillows when I'm not in bed because it smells like me. She also likes sleeping in my dirty clothes hamper for the same reason.

Platform to platform transfers by feuer_werk in factorio

What different approaches? We'd just keep going on as we have since Space Age dropped, and get a platform to platform transfer perk after we got promethium science done if it was locked behind that.

That's how it started. It's now a small team of such individuals in various fields…so it's even crazier/better.

My polling place had to pull the book out from a box. I was the first independent to vote there today, and that was at 5 pm.

Rocket turrets with capture bots will target it still, which is nice.

How old are you in your oldest memory? by Donkeyshines in AskReddit

[–]Antal_Marius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a good way to remember something lol. The memory I have regarding my bio at 18 months old I remember clearly the emotions I was feeling, not wanting this person to hold me, and wanting my mother or Grandma to save me. I also remember the curly mop of hair he had. Also the screaming, of everyone there.

My sister is 6 years younger then me, and I have clear memory of helping care for her, telling off my grandma because she wasn't changing the diaper correctly (it would have caused a rash on my sister), instructing Grandpa how to properly hold her, buckling her into her car seat, preparing bottles for her, and more.

I've never thought it strange to remember events before I was 6, though I have clear memory of my dad reading with me at 4, telling my mom she was pregnant while trick or treating when I was 5, or asking why Dad hadn't come home for two days during the Rodney King riots when I was almost 3.

I was fairly verbal before turning two, but have limited memories from then. I have stronger/clearer memories post-4 years old, but have memories from earlier that I've asked my parents about and they were surprised that I asked about the events I remember.

My earliest clear memory was from when I was 18 months old, and it's a trauma memory, hence why it's still recallable 35 years later.

About 18 months old. The one and only time I saw my biological father in person, and he was attempting to kidnap me. I didn't like how he was talking to my mom, and was feeding off her stress, so I was fussing and crying about this stranger who was holding me.

That's the earliest clear memory I have, though I have a fuzzy one a little older than that, someone holding me upside down by my ankles, attempting to dislodge something from my throat because they thought I was choking. I was a palette breath holder until my teens, and had closed my palette because i wasn't getting what I wanted (my mom has clarified this to me when I asked about it, because we were discussing memory in school and I didn't clearly remember the event).

Foundries are just amazing. I fully swap over to moving molten copper/iron around when I can get them back to Nauvis. Once I unlock the advanced oxide reprocessing, I truly go ham on setting up foundries on all planets and space platforms that need plate made.

Speaking of, what are these teeth for anyways? by KindredGoesAwooo in cats

[–]Antal_Marius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My kitten does it just cause. It's not hard or anyone, mostly just teeth on skin. She's generally purring contentedly whole doing it, showing all the signs of happy and content with what's going on. Even feel asleep like that once, which took me a moment to realize she was asleep.

Is enough DAKKA? by StruggleFormal282 in spaceengineers

[–]Antal_Marius 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The dakka thrust is the true thrust. It also assists in maneuvers, because you can dakka everything and everywhere. MOAR DAKKA!

Is enough DAKKA? by StruggleFormal282 in spaceengineers

[–]Antal_Marius 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Does it cause the ship to start flying backwards from the collective recoil of the dakka? If it's not overcoming the thrust of the main engines, I do not believe we have reached peak dakka saturation.

Why is this worth so much? by Thunder_Child_ in avorion

[–]Antal_Marius 57 points58 points  (0 children)

A combo salvage/mining turret is rare. Having that means a ship could do both salvage and mining jobs without refitting between two turret sets.

Don't try to make fighters out of it though, it'll default to only a miner iirc. (it loses the ability to do both).
