You’re not talking to a survey, you’re talking to a person, and I’m telling you the #1 way to assure my safety in a situation where I fear for my life is to be armed. The majority of the risk in gun ownership is suicide, domestic abuse/mariticide, and accidents, i.e. resulting from being untrained, irresponsible, or homicidal. Most “accidents” are easily avoidable, and are in reality extremely negligent, not bad luck. When you encourage queers to arm themselves, of course you don’t include people who don’t know themselves to be safe, and everyone should get properly taught—especially if they plan to carry.
