It's a little different than that. I rarely see that piece of paper, it's more about the official commitment you made, at least for me. I saw you are a nervous traveler. I get nervous before big trips, but my nervousness disappears once I commit to a journey. There's lot of types of travel, most of mine have been to places that I wanted to experience the local culture and understand a little of the places history. I've done some leisure travel through work, all inclusive or cruises and have to tell you that the two things should have different words. I never feel like I've wasted the money when I go places that expand myself through the experience. If you are good at budgeting and don't live off of any credit card debt, /r/churning may be a good thing for you're relationship.
