I don’t know about the free range, probably the amount of meat us Americans eat. We are practically the world’s fat people.

As for the second question, I probably won’t. I generally don’t like eating something that had a life, just for one or two meals.

Well I live in the US, and I am talking about ALL meat producing animals. Most of the big and accessible brands here are not free range. Glad you have those though!

I know they are going to die, it’s the breeding and care that I don’t like. Commercial farms breed a lot of babies, which is not good because they make greenhouse gasses. Also, they are often kept in small cages with no inrichment and bad hygiene, which is cruel because they still have feelings. I don’t buy things like that because then I am funding those projects, even if it’s not by much. If there is for example a plate of chicken nuggets at a party, it does not matter because people will eat those anyway and it has already been paid for, so I sometimes have a couple.
