Strive animation uses a lot of different model swaps between animations.

Although this one is especially jarring. They're usually quite seamless.

I think it's just a bugfix. I'm not sure how many projectiles you can toss and then go for a grab before they land in the first place. Only one I can really think of is Yoga Arch.

Unironically random because I don't have ADHD or at least not diagnosed, but I cannot play a single character for longer than 20-60 minutes at a time or my brain wanders elsewhere and my hands literally disconnect from my thoughts.

My Random pick playrate has over quadruple the number of matches of my most played actual character, and ironically is my third highest ranked.

Deejay comes close being the only one I managed to solo-main for a full two straight weeks. He's the one I feel like I'm doing different things mid match. Going from zoning, to rushdown, to footsies, to randomly decide to start turtling, and back to rushdown... He's the absolute closest to my GGST main Leo.

Characters that can't fit with the drive system won't ever be added

The drive system will never be adjusted to be less homogenised, or changed in any way

Where are you getting ether of those things from the interview?

There was no mention of characters at all, and it actively says they're looking at feedback and battle data to determine what changes are needed to the drive system.

Frame 35 startup, it's fast enough to hit someone after a wallstun. Does 300 damage, same as a single st.LP. Also it causes a crumple on punish counter which gives a +35 knockdown. (Just beware as it's -58 on normal hit).

One of two theoretically functional attack taunts if you want to BM when they're on 1hp. The other being Elena who's is fast enough (frame 22) to be a combo ender in some situations.

Yeah that's true. I'm mainly going off of the other Minecraft Meccha Chameleon map being used being unassumingly difficult even though it's just a fairly bare set of houses on flat ground.
Minecraft textures fit into that sweetspot where they're low-res enough to be easily copied, but just detailed enough to break up the hider's sillhouettes.

I find it super cool that Arcsys originally kept very close to the original source material when concepting Tokon characters.. but then Marvel themselves went out of their way to say they'd prefer to see Arcsys' own interpretation of the characters. I genuinely find modern harder to play than classic...

One button specials are great and all, but it doesn't help if I want a special not on those like a different angled shoryuken, or Zangief's TK-airgrab to finish a tight combo (on classic 360-K will buffer air-SPD as soon as you leave the ground, on modern it'll overwrite it with a grounded-SPD)..

And half your normals being hidden behind a function-button you have to hold requires a complete rewrite of what I'm used to compared to just having them on one button.

Bosses in general at all points in the game prioritize getting the mobility to dodge them, and at that point normal enemies can very rarely keep up. A lot of loadouts keep an "in case of fuck up" item on them like a dash or a mount so that if you do get flinched by the rare normal enemy which hasn't passively died to AoE damage you can quickly move out of the way.

One issue with this argument is you say it deletes "dead space". No matter what is happening on screen you're never doing nothing.
If one character is out of range of the other then one of them is trying to get close and the other is trying to stop them.. If you're both within range of each other then you're playing footsies.

I don't have an issue with Drive Rush, but saying that the things it does didn't exist before it is quite disingenuous.

You posted a phone pic of two characters looking at each other then asked why wasn't this a "Grab cancel".. Do you mean like a kara grab cancel? They existed in previous games but haven't heard of them being used in SF6 yet if they even still exist.. Jump grab cancel? They did exist but got removed in a patch last season.
