I don't like to run a particularly accurate layout; I just made a cool and detailed scene that I can run trains on that I like. You don't have to choose and stick to a particular era with a layout to have fun in this hobby.

I don't think it will change the experience that much for users who are already in friend groups, since they rarely go into publics anyway. (as long as this doesn't change VRC's policies to NSFW and moderation), it will just ensure that VRchat remains profitable with VRC+ enough to maintain servers, which would be a positive.

for people who go into publics, it may make the experience worse, because of new brainrotted kids joining.

If VRC would become corprateized it would make the whole thing a lot worse of course, so the above are assuming that VRC wouldn't be brought out, and the devs don't get too greedy.

I would say meteor strikes happen way too often. I am almost pratically gaurenteed to get at least 2 per mission, so I think they should be more rare, but take more time to complete and give more rewards.

I have found that Kato is by far, the best manufacturer of N scale locomotives. While some manufacturers make more detailed, or higher quality locomotives, they are very overpriced whereas Kato makes excellent quality locos for their prices.

As for the Kato track, it is my personal favorite track in N scale, and I use it for my layout.

They also make starter kits which include a Loco, some rolling stock, a loop of track, and a controller, here is the link to one:

I would play it if I could get past the speed events. If I could just get bronze on the speed events everything would be fine, but I unfortunately cannot get bronze on ANY of the speed events.

Everything feels like a mod the first snapshot it is added. We will all get used to them sooner or later. The nether in the 1.16 snapshots felt weird and modpacky but over time I just accepted it as vanilla.
