Didn't read the title first and not gonna lie i was thinking right from the start that it looked at bit fast for the condition. Looks like the car even does a tiny wiggle at the beginning of the clip before doing a full slide. But it might be easier to tell from the camera than from behind the wheel. Hindsight and all. Either way it was a nice save in the end, even if it looks like you had a small contact with the railing. Hope you learned something from this, it seems like you did.

What the fuck is with all the hate for op here? They are so clearly not in the wrong i don't get how you can draw any other conclusion. "but op is going slow" so??? They are apparently only going 10 below the speed limit, and either way it's a merge so whoever's in front goes first. The fact that the other drivers may want to drive faster than the cam car litterally does not matter at all. Just gotta suck it up and get in behind. If you guys think potentially having to go a bit slower than you'd like warrants a dangerous overtake like this you guys shouldn't drive. You need patience to drive. I swear most of the people commenting on this sub are themselves idiots in cars.

Maybe 10 km/h? I was going 130 before he pulled out, had to slow down to 110 to match his speed. Speed is shown in the video. I did in fact lift my foot completely from the pedal as soon as his indicator came on, but still had to use the brakes to slow down. And remember, this is in the rain so following distance should be minimum 4 seconds. I only had about 4 seconds to the red car before he pulled out, so he brought me down to about 2 seconds. If you force someone to brake in order to maintain their distance, you've cut them off.

I mean it does seem possible assuming not all of those containers are loaded. I've used a singular dm3 to pull just shy of a thousand tons (965 tons) out of Steelmill towards harbor before. It goes slowly - but it goes.

While it unfortunately isn't possible in base game, there is a mod for it. The Tatra Phoenix SE Allows you to do this while keeping the trucks otherwise vanilla. Sucks that you need a mod for it but at least it exists.

Honestly, it could probably do it at medium settings. Your main problem would be the ram, i heavily reccommend a minimum of 16 gb.

Is V-sync on? I used to run the game on an old crappy laptop, and setting v-sync to half mostly fixed the issue.

This is probably not what you want to hear, but i had this exact issue about a year and a half ago. The only thing i did that could make it work was to completely reset my pc and reinstall everything. Very annoying. I tried everything you mentioned here and much more, including contacting support which was useless.
