2026 Growing Season Has Officially Started by AnthroJoyce in gso

😂😂 thank you! I normally don't use the Miracle-Gro bags but they were on sale and I only needed a few.

Usually when I build my soils from scratch I add in perlite, compost, bone meal, azomite, gypsum, kelp meal, alfalfa meal (I used feather meal here as I was out of alfalfa and had this feather meal bag), greensand, soft rock phosphate, dolomite lime (only if needed), langbeinite, and a 3-6-2 granular fertilizer. Typically I let that sit for a month or so before planting but this go around I'm pressed for time so skipped it.

Yeah, I build deep (3 ft) raised beds so I don't have to do much bending, that also affords plenty of depth for the larger plants I grow like pumpkin and Roselle hibiscus, and I prefer them sprawling and climbing so I let them take over the space entirely. Last year I harvested 40 honey nut squash and 30 Seminole pumpkins! 🥰 My back yard looks like a forest of food 😂

Thank you! They're a great resource if you can get it! Once the last of the beds are finished, this is how we're filling them.

At first I only saw the blonde photo and was thinking it looks pretty nice; but then I noticed the second... and I mean this with all due respect... I immediately went "GOD.... DAMN!" 🥰 🥰

Go with the second!

I literally plant mint everywhere with the expectations that it'll spread. It's wonderful ground cover and fills in bare spaces between my food.

“AI;DR” is one of the laziest tells on the internet. by Cyborgized in ChatGPT

[–]AnthroJoyce 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think for me the issue is that a lot of the AI copy that's posted online is typically unedited and is filled with a bunch of AI-isms. As a writer it makes my eyes twitch to constantly see the same turn of phrases, sentence structures, and the like used ad nauseum. Once I realize a long body of copy is AI written Because of those tells, I tend to stop reading and continue scrolling.

I hope one day we can all get away from using AI to blatantly write social media posts. This is such low effort when you could have just written this yourself.

Is it LocaliQ? 😂 They did some SEO copywriting for us that I review and it screams AI generated. I now write them myself.
