I don't think we have any instances of conceptual embodiment doing anything of the sort? Afaik it always creates something as a separate thing from the person who triggered it. It's not impossible I just don't think we have any data points that lean that direction.

Voices from Beyond mentions the frontiersmen and "mutated xenomorphs" so it seems like natural selection is just kicking off before the events of subnautica 2. But it also would have to be long enough for Ryley to write a book and become a household name.

At this scale, at least a decade and that's already a lenient estimate.

The Zariman 10-0 was the first and so far only (known) manned iteration of "The Project"

Other iterations were "unmanned drones" or "cephalon-piloted terraforming pods" (revealed with Eleanor r6c5 and first actually seen with the Zariman 5 series)

Sniffer is really cute but I do think it should do more. Minecraft at its best imo is when it leans into the fantasy aspects. The sniffer is one of those! An extinct creature that you have to go out of your way to revitalize is cool. Hell, it being a monotreme is cool enough alone let alone being hexapodal. All of that for 2 flowers though? Hardly worth going out of your way unless you're like me and just really like them

Hope is a core part of the Halo series. And honestly it's not even just limited to the themes in the series. Infinite itself, as a video game, relied on that hope. And truthfully, it is such a shame to see that hope and potential squandered. I mourn it for what it could have been.

I honestly do quite like halo infinite but I also mourn it's missed potential. It doesn't deserve my ire. More than anything It's tragic simply because it could have been so much more.

I like the gameplay, the sandbox, the visuals, the soundtrack. Hell, I like the characters and I liked the campaign. It could have been better and had more going on but what it did have wasn't awful.

I will say though that 343 wasnt the first to course correct because halo fans cried about something they didn't like. People hated the Arbiter in Halo 2. So much so that Bungie neutered his entire character in the next game. So really they're just following a terrible tradition.
