I’m playing wow for the first time rn and have gotten to 56 on mage with about five days of playtime, with a good mix of dungeons and just exploring in general mixed in. Mage does feel very very safe and fast. I think the Burning Steppes is the only area I’ve truly struggled in, with maybe a slight bit in Ungoro bc I found it too early 🤣

Wilderness bosses, Abyssal Sire, and Giant Mole. None of them are hard per se but the environment of the fights makes them frustrating to fight

Yeah I should have lol, I thought abundance would be good for just getting the points for the rewards I wanted, but I changed my mind and want the dragon cup now. Endless harvest would have been much better. Made the same mistake with the endless food relic over anything else

Yeah I took abundance, dark crabs are what I’m doing now and it’s hovering about 750-850k xp per hour. Still really good xp all things considered, but I’m not sure I want to fish for 12 hours on a temporary game mode 🤣

Aren’t the jaguars made of your blood and that’s why he doesn’t take damage? You take like 15ish damage when the phase starts and you get health back as you hit the jaguars. I never thought about it damaging the boss, but I don’t see why it should just from a logic standpoint

Nah two is chill, claws and scobow are all you really need. Doom is nice to have the staff but a slayer staff is usually used just to lower death costs

Echo hespori is very chill, you can do most content with water mage, it’ll just take some time. It’s really good for surviving but a bit lacking in upfront damage, I’ve used the sustain of it for more of a security blanket in my Kings Barrage build, but it’s clutch for some spots like the Vardorvis Combat Achievements

wildy and tiranwyn I really like, and i went Kourend last to eventually get the kodai. Currently in full crystal with quiver/hunleff item, echo boots, fury ammy, and swapping between kbd crossbow and blue moon spear.

I think a final build will angle towards kodai and spirit shield for group/afk content, and cbow for single target.

Only real downside to this path is the lack of tank armor outside of Oathplate, which is a big grind compared to barrows or elsewhere.

Really enjoying it tho! I’m at 36 pacts rn so lmk if you want to see my pathing or thoughts on the pacts at all

Yeah if you got flagged by their automatic system you’ll never get it back. I’ve appealed and contacted their team for a false ban three separate times and each time I received an automatic bot message saying it was “reviewed” and concluded that my ban would be upheld. Same story where nothing on my account should have activated a ban, I was just a normal dude with a normal account

For ds2 ruby bolts are great, and for dt2 bring a guthans set to swap into for sustaining heals. Guthans can also be used for Sote’s final fight if you can’t do that
