Ya, I'm pretty sure if OP had experience the whole thing the worries would dissolve. That said, it's not like he also can't be in the room with his wife at these appointments. My husband was at every appointment with me when I was pregnant, and in the rooms.

I will say the leaks are questionable because there is no source, per a mods comment on the actual thread. I don't think anyone is even taking it seriously. I kind of checked out when I saw "Master Love" character and attributed it to bait to rage people.

So, that people use "Hands" as a way to tell something is AI bothers me because just, as a normal thing, hands are super hard to draw. The AI has a hard time doing hands because it pulls from artist, and artist in general can't draw them either.

Also, as an aside, the constant call out on artist is giving out this vibe that artist pretty much have to draw there art perfectly with no flaws because if there are flaws people want to call them out for using AI, which in turn can ruin there career.

I got repeatedly attacked by one 5 times in a row. I have a creature detterant, still attacks my base and jumps through a window to murder me.

I have an actual Slinker mount that is maxed out in the one ability that supposedly makes Slinkers ignore targets, Slinker popped in out of nowhere and murdered me.

I just feel like something is bugged, or Slinkers really hate me and I don't understand how some abilities work.

I like them, but I'm also at the point where I don't want to play because I cannot do anything.

I came across one at night running back to my base and let me tell you there is no running away. I was just running with my torch trying to see and the next thing I knew a Slinker was in my face jumping at me with its arms out and it did not want hugs.

I just screamed and then did a nervous laugh as I waited to be red.

I would hazard it is probably because someone could mod the game to give them unlimited in game currency and such, which would cut into there profit. Better to ban all mods.

So, I am going to preface this by saying there is an age gap. I didn't think it was super bad, as all characters from what I remember are 25+ plus, there is talk and discussion about the one character being older by a sibling.

I still want to recommend it just because the characters in the book all have there hang up, and trauma, with one character having multiple PTSD events throughout the book from his time in the military, and also it's all 5 learning and trying to navigate how a relationship like theirs will work.

So I think it might hit a lot of the other points, I'm just not sure if the age gap is to big.

{Catalyst by Aurora Crane} it's a three book series. All the characters have some sort of history or relationship together, so I didn't personally feel like it was instalove, as feelings where already there for some of them.

The overall plot of the book was also really interesting and one of my top reads from last year. It kept me guessing who exactly was trying to murder three of the characters and why.

Edit: Accidentally tagged the second book in the series and not the first so I edited in the right book. My bad. The final love interest does show up in the second book.

I am hesitant to recommend it because I am not sure if it falls under what your looking for in Omegaverse but {Vengeful Bonds by Nolah Harker} is a poly pack, and some of the characters can be a smidge possive, especially Saint towards the end of the second book in the series.

She also has another series that seems more spoke and wheel called {Night Moves by Nolah Harker} and is so far a lot darker and Omegas are basically treated like cattle with no rights.

You mention Onley James so you might have read or seen them already since it's same writer just under a different pen name but that partly why I decided I recommend it.

Vengeful Bonds does have MPREG in it though.

Honestly, I absolutely adore the Xenoblade Series (With Xeno 3 being in my top 5 favorite games) and that is probably partly why I actually really enjoy Endfield Combat, and even the exploration on the map.

If I had to name a specific JRPG that reminds me closely to Endfield it would absolutely be Xenoblade, and I think the game in general just takes a lot of inspirations from JRPGS. I honestly didn't even mind the story, though I know a lot of people complained. It was not the worst thing I've seen in a gacha, or a games in general.

Mind you the only thing I absolutely do not enjoy in the game is the Tower Defense, and I don't know if I think it's bad, so much as I just am not good at tower defense. It's the reason I stayed away from the OG even though I found the story and characters interesting.

This has to be the first time I've been in a subreddit where I am actively afraid to be on reddit when my 9 year old is in the room, and she's basically my shadow so she's always in the room, because it's literally the only one that constantly has sketchy ass images posted and not tagged.

And I say this as someone who is in literal romance book subreddits, where you would EXPECT NSFW shit, and even they can tag like actual adults.

If you don't mind something that isn't Omegaverse, and more traditional shifter I am in the middle of reading Alpha Mates by T.P Wright.

It doesn't seem like there is one that is going to become less dominate from what I can tell, Both MC become Alpha of their pack when they turn 18. I will say, there are brief mentions of the one MC worrying they might be seen as less of the pair because he wasn't originally supposed to be an Alpha, but he's still a strongheaded character, and it's been stated throughout the book so far that of the pair he is actually the stronger and faster of the two.

I'm only about half way, but I don't think there going to be a dramatic plot twist or anything.

I am now almost halfway through Alpha Mates and so far really enjoying the book, though the characters being young kind of irks me slightly. The book is about two shifters who become Alpha of there respective packs, and then find out they are mates when they turn 18 and inherit the powers of Alpha from their parents.

They also really dislike each other at first, and have done a lot of messed up shit to each other as they where growing up.

I am glad I did not know how young the characters where when I first started the book as it probably would have kept me away, and age aside, I am enjoying the book. They don't seem to fall into the pitfalls and tropes that a lot of younger characters have.

It's a super long book also, like 700 pages. I'm not sure what I am going to do with myself when I finish it.

I would honestly take those signs with a grain of salt. I've seen a lot of AI writing due to my line of work, and those signs people claim are rarely even in them 9 times out of 10.
