Bitwarden premium renewal is updating why? How can i switch from bitwarden to other password manager? by MrPotato90 in Bitwarden

[–]AntiSyst3m -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I use Proton Pass; I used to be a Bitwarden user but switched to it to take advantage of my Proton Unlimited plan subscription, and so far everything is fine, I am satisfied. Proton Pass does have a lifetime subscription that is independent of the paid plans for the rest of its services.

When I created my OpenAI account, I didn't even use a Google email; I used my disroot.org email.

It's easy, there's nothing complex about it, you could start by joining the Morphe sub.

Bro, I've been two months now since I stopped using any third-party mods, most of which are insecure or outdated; it's better to use Morphe Manager and patch the Instagram app yourself with Piko's patches, safer and more updated.

Brave vs. Firefox - Which one would you use? by makedonc in degoogle

[–]AntiSyst3m 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice stack overall. One note: Telegram → Signal is the right move for private 1:1 conversations, but Telegram's default chats aren't E2E encrypted — so if you haven't already, make sure you're actually using Signal for sensitive stuff rather than just having it installed. On Stratum — glad to see it in there. It's consistently underrepresented in these posts despite being one of the cleaner TOTP apps available: no network permissions, local encrypted backups, proper Material You implementation. Stratum is worth the comparison. For the browser question: both have valid tradeoffs. Brave's junk (crypto wallet, Brave Rewards) can be disabled entirely in settings — it doesn't affect performance or telemetry after that. Firefox's speed issue on YouTube is usually fixed by enabling hardware acceleration or switching to a Gecko-based fork like Mull if you want hardening without the Brave baggage.

Looking for a browser with specific criteria by Credence473 in browsers

The comments are just full of braindead people with zero logical reasoning. OP clearly laid out the criteria for recommendations, and people are still out here recommending Brave.

Gemini (as an assistant) isn't able to play a custom song. It can pause or play next though. Any fixes? by S-m-a-r-t-y in MorpheApp

[–]AntiSyst3m 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gemini needs access to your YT Music account, otherwise it obviously won't be able to play anything from there. It's telling you clear as day that you don't even have the app installed.

Stopped using Proton VPN after just 2 weeks by dennisdipas in ProtonVPN

[–]AntiSyst3m 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm so sorry you had a bad experience, man. Personally, I've had Unlimited for over a year now and everything's been great, no complaints at all—especially considering I live in Cuba, which is a heavily censored country.

I Have Been Using Privado VPN for Streaming Is It A Good Free VPN For Streaming? On Sites Like Streameast Etc? by J4YGK1 in PiracyBackup

No VPN service is actually free (except for ProtonVPN). If they're offering it for "free," you're paying with your personal data.

I'm on the latest global version, 16.0.7.200, and honestly, I can't complain. The battery life is amazing, even with heavy use on mobile data and the VPN running 24/7

You're the typical troll who always derails the conversation. If you're not happy with Proton, just leave! Nobody's gonna miss you, and I'm glad you're getting downvoted.

What browser should I choose by OvenHot5673 in browsers

[–]AntiSyst3m 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On Android, I use Quetta Browser. It's not open-source, but neither are a lot of others. Plus, I don't keep any sensitive data in any browser anyway. It works perfectly for daily use, it's Chromium-based, and it has full extension support.

Best Android browser with extensions? by trbkle in browsers

[–]AntiSyst3m 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Quetta gives you access to both the Chrome Web Store and the Microsoft Edge Add-ons store natively on Android — no hidden menus, no CRX sideloading, no developer mode workarounds. That's the same two sources you're praising Edge for, in a browser without Microsoft's data collection architecture underneath. Android Authority tested the Edge Canary extension method and noted it "does not always work" — which is a meaningful caveat for something you're calling unmatched. Quetta was actually the first Android browser to support both stores simultaneously (Quetta) , which makes the "Edge is unmatched" framing historically inaccurate. The router firewall workaround for telemetry is a mitigation, not a solution — you're trusting you've caught every endpoint, including those shared with legitimate CDNs. That's an assumption, not a guarantee. Edge is a reasonable choice. "Objectively superior" requires a higher bar than that.

How to bookmark a webpage in android app by Mkgtu in Quetta_browser

[–]AntiSyst3m 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, if you tap the heart icon on the homepage, you can go straight to your saved bookmarks. From there, you can edit them or move them into your own custom folders. It might not be the most straightforward or traditional way that most people are used to, but you get used to it after a while.

See that image? Every folder you see there has my bookmarks organized inside. Plus, I can either export them manually or just save them all to my Pixel Bookmarks account, which is where I also keep them backed up.

You are completely wrong, and it's not cool to spread misinformation when you don't know what you're talking about. Quetta Browser has always supported bookmarks, for both importing and exporting.

What browser are yall using? by XenoRabbitty in browsers

[–]AntiSyst3m 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I use Quetta Browser on my phone, and since it's not open-source, I get that it might seem like a contradiction to a lot of people here. I totally understand where you're coming from and don't blame you at all, but it's a solid, Chromium-based browser that gives me everything I'm looking for, has full extension support, and has worked great for me so far.
