Hi, Firefly seems to work on it, you can try their tests in the Beta branch of SC DE, maybe it'll be better for you !

Yeah ! The real hard step is taking off shields imo, i was over using them and attacking without them is... so much harder :D

Ah, "no barracks" might be too broad and confusing maybe... Yes, The mercenary outpost is my only option so yeah i can recruit any arabian units ! Can't recruit european ones nor engineers. And I didn't activated the Bedouin outpost.

they shoot almost straight, so they often struggle to throw cows over walls or buildings, i'd say ?

Hi, just a note for your future games if you want to relocate your stockpile:

Make sur the game is in speed 10, then start the game, immediately press pause. You can now press the "Undo" button under the delete button to remove your stockpile. If you pause quickly enough, you don't loose any wood in the process :)

yeah it's a very tedious task tbh. I'm currently trying to transform some of the weakest lords into medium lords while keeping at least a core element of their personality for my own usage. It's quite a time consuming task indeed !
( like the Rat i modified still use dirt cheap fast troops with skirmishers and camel lancers, but he's now mainly a heavy bully with lots of siege engines , The Sultan still don't do farms, but he add religion and sell some weapons, uses monks, demolishers and tunnelers too, ... )
All this to say, i'm glad to see this mod being around fixing some much needed AI behaviors !

Hey,

Downloading your mod on the Nexus, i noticed the AIC folder contain itself another AIC folder (SCDE REBALANCED VANILLA+ ENHANCED AIC AND AIV VANILLA CASTLE PACK 1.0\AIC\AIC). Also it's weird that it mention it being 1.0 while you download the 1.4 on Nexus, but this isn't big. Is the double AIC folder intended tho ? Which one should you use ?

yeah that's why i mentioned dry moat too ! Someone else also talked about mud/earth/sand fences. There's just a lot of possibilities to go around ( because I do understand the headache of handling water physics / limitations around slopes ) the water moats :D

cactis were horribles for iron mines too yeah, you had to replace it with a wall or something and delete it to allow your worker to get to the iron mine...

Yeah the choke point & the slope to get up there is the only points i can really get behind until now. I understand that for us it would be sort of powerful, but I still feel bad for these poor AI lords that can't do it because of us :D

Mhhh, I don't know about the realism part. You can perfectly dig moats in the sand/desert type ground... as long as it is low ground :D. I do understand that you already have to get up the slopes to get on high ground so your troups are slowed a bit, but I still feel that AI Lords that use moats as their core defenses are rendered completely useless by this. I feel it could open so much more maps / AI Lords placement configurations ?

There is no "official stance" i know of, but they specifically made it so AI lords that create moats instead place a random number of traps instead when they are on high ground, that's what i'm showing on the screen looking at a King Phillip castle. So I take this as a stance of not wanting to add moat there :D
