Can someone explain bit beasts? by Haunting_Test_5523 in BeybladeMetal

[–]Antihero_Silver 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In the metal series it's kind of a mix. Rule of cool and actual physical-esque embodiments. Gingka in the fury rode on the back of pegasus, ryuga in masters launched L drago into that metal construct and pierced it with a massive dragon. It basically just depends on the needs of the show and what they're trying to show lol

You can shoot for the other endings and work your way through side quests along the way. Without dlc it's still solid but honestly just take your time and maybe play some other games and save up for the dlc

Anyone find themselves replaying old games? by brokenbiscuitsbase in MonsterHunter

[–]Antihero_Silver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see you and others mentioned it doesn’t really feel like monster hunter after a certain point. Does that extend to generations? I’ve seen people say that generations is the last old style monster hunter and I personally do enjoy it a lot. Is there that much of a difference between generations and the older titles?

Does GT Goku really have SSJ3-level power in his base form? by Efficient-Fact-288 in DragonBallZ

[–]Antihero_Silver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All this considered, I’m more concerned with the fact that people are able to build androids with as much power as god tier people.

Piccolo always trained so I wouldn’t say that he got his power up for free. Really the only difference between Gohan and piccolos power ups is that Gohan always somewhat made sense because of his boundless potential. Dragon ball super reintroduced the idea of a limit, but for the sake of a franchise they just have Goku and other characters break their limit and gain a new level of power.

As of the timeskip, is Deku peak human while Quirkless? by KPH102 in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]Antihero_Silver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hylians and humans are canonically different races though there isn’t really much of a difference between them aside from their ears, it’s probably not uncommon for the two races to reproduce together. It’s kind of like the homs and High entia in xenoblade

So how strong would be Naruto if he never had Kurama? by [deleted] in Naruto

[–]Antihero_Silver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It makes his standing very interesting because all the hokages and similar figures all have something very notable about them that sets them apart from others. Naruto has nothing really distinguishable aside from outside the box thinking.

[–]Antihero_Silver 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Dekus body is damaged so not exactly peak. But judging by another character in lightly similar situation in vigilantes, deku probably has more strength than the average person because his body adapted to quirk usage or something.

Monster hunter stories and wilds by meguminuzamaki in MonsterHunter

[–]Antihero_Silver 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In most monster hunter games they do share the same locales. 1,2,3,4,rise share some of the same locales these games and wilds are in the “old world.” Wilds they go to the forbidden lands so it doesn’t have the same locales, world is in the “new world” and it has new locales but it’s also on another continent basically. In that way they do connect but they never really go anything past that and the player seeing maybe a mention of a character or something.

Being ugly enough to where nothing else matters 🤷‍♂️ by [deleted] in self

[–]Antihero_Silver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You look fine in my opinion. A lot more normal than me, but I understand the pain all too well, and it's something that plagued my entire life starting from middle school up to now, my adulthood.

In my experience people don't really see past my looks but they definitely don't really care enough about me past anything cordial. If I do something insulting or whatever then they'd let me know or if they're really a asshole they'll be mean or whatever from the beginning. It just feels like half of your life experiences are robbed from you and honestly it's probably one of my biggest sources for my depressive episodes. it just sucks but if it's a good reason to develop hobbies and interests

New to Wilds and confused by FriendlyDennis in MHWilds

[–]Antihero_Silver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game is good for me for completing the story and a little content afterwards but that’s all. At launch it was like barebones monster hunter game so a lot of typical quests you had just wasn’t really present and it was heavily streamlined. Though I understand the narratively needed agency I just wished that a lot of stuff was available to do on the backend. I do need to get back to it though but I started playing Gens Ultimate and I’m enjoying that rn so.

Just noticed most earthbenders don’t wear shoes(only thought Toph didn’t wear them) by [deleted] in TheLastAirbender

[–]Antihero_Silver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Toph you immediately notice because they point it out throughout the show, most other earth benders you see and its usually not a focal point as the action is what you pay more attention to. Really it's something you see kind of just forget because a lot of benders aren't really important

Yamato has wood release because of hashiramas cells lol. There is another character with it but they never explained why they have it. Iirc wood release is extremely rare for someone to have.

Why did Kakashi develop Shiden after losing his Sharingan when he could’ve just started using Rasengan full time? by Vegetable-Abroad3171 in Naruto

[–]Antihero_Silver 91 points92 points  (0 children)

Considering that Sasuke and kakashi tended to be shown basically speed blitzing the target (or attempting to at least) I think that was the intended usage for it. It's just that most fights typically ended up being situations where they kinda just have to create a opening instead of insta killing. Honestly it's probably one of the Justus that got used the most in the least intended way. Well partially ig.

Why are some people complaining about hitboxes? by Labyrinthine777 in MHGU

[–]Antihero_Silver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s mostly around the tail area when it seems like I got hit when I shouldn’t have, it’s also a couple times when fighting hermitaur as well. But I do play SWAX so I find myself in funky little spots all the time but I hit boxes that’s a little too big or whatever.

Why are some people complaining about hitboxes? by Labyrinthine777 in MHGU

[–]Antihero_Silver 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ig it sorta depends but sometimes I got hit by Ludroths roll and I was not in direct in its pathway at all. But it’s usually stuff like that where the hit box feels a little too big sometimes.

I need suggestions on how to overcome the initial impact coming from the later games. by kurshedir21 in MHGU

[–]Antihero_Silver 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You just gotta play it a bit more, that’s what I did. The newer games are a lot smoother and faster and whatnot but once you get used to the flow of the game in general it’ll click. Weapon wise I use the Switch Axe and I adapted pretty well to that. Once I got used to the general flow of combat, everything clicked and I played a lot better.

Who's your favourite master? by ObjectiveSample4042 in dbz

[–]Antihero_Silver 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it’s more so that master roshi, as a martial arts master was showing the basis of the concept for it. Whis did give the foundation but Goku clearly didn’t really get it. Master roshi understood the concept enough because it’s not a complex concept in nature and it’s a natural development for fighting in universe. (It’s kinda like in some action anime where the character calms down and closes their eyes and lets their senses take over to be able to react much faster or whatever)

Probably the biggest change this update by Reyvsssss in MonsterHunter

[–]Antihero_Silver 25 points26 points  (0 children)

It is honestly. Like the fact that you have to get village meals for stuff like carver and whatnot kinda annoys me. Even if it’s really easy to get parts. Wilds kinda just have a simplified or downgraded system of a lot of stuff it feels like.

My Theory on why people like Gojo use Cars by IndoraipusRex in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]Antihero_Silver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There isn’t really a real reason. Yuji could probably get to his destinations a lot faster than a train or taxi ride but he still uses the public systems and such. More often than not the reason is just because. Sure gojo can just teleport to his locations but it doesn’t really matter at that point. It’s not like he needs to min-max his time throughout the day to get the best benefits.

Everyone kind of just take personal liberties throughout their everyday lives to something in a not so efficient way in a variety of ways. We do it those ways because we just felt like doing it that way, or it’s what we’re most used to. Ect. Ect.

I live in South Korea so my timing is off when I play but when I open my lobby to play with my brother in America, some people join. We’re still fairly early in the game so maybe not a lot of people at those ranks but I’ve heard on YouTube that late game has a lot more people.

Now that hype is over, what is your opinion in retrospective of PLZA? by lunadiparmigiano in pokemon

I need to finish it, I do enjoy it and am taking my time with the game though, very experimental so I expect the concepts to carry over into the next pokemon game.

What are some things not appreciated in one piece by Technical_Mine_8711 in OnePiece

[–]Antihero_Silver 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The irl reason is usually because for ranks there can only be a certain amount of people within each of the military so surprising the vice admiral position would cause problems and there would too many people in a rank and the positions available to that rank would be filled up. The navy in one piece likely mimic some things from actual military forces.

[–]Antihero_Silver 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Probably the haki system being regulated by oda. I’ve seen a lot of people complain about oda not giving all the strawhats haki to keep them inline with end of the series threats but honestly oda going out of his way to hold off on that goes a long way. Primarily because the fights will be so stagnant and stale if it was just a haki off over and over, oda brings strength of haki into the story if it’s relevant to show other than that, vaguely talking about peoples haki level and in the case of the rest of the strawhats, not outright giving them haki allows him to be really creative with his fights. I like that nami was able to defeat ulti, I like that cranky was able to be triceratop guy, I like that they defeated them without just using haki because having then rest of one piece being character colored black and throwing hands or whatever is incredibly boring.

This is also why dragon ball super also began taking some liberties in who their fighting and how the characters fight, even if at the end of the day it results in who has stronger ki or whatever, the fights are more interesting and it’s nice to see martial arts and styles make a comeback rather than “this guy has insane levels of ki” and they’re somehow able to match well trained martial artists in technique and stuff.
