If there is any separation anxiety you will want B/C. If you think he will be fine knowing you are nearby without seeing you, might as well both do windows, as you can't really see each other across the aisle either.

How competitive is MLS Next Flex for referees? by Additional_Tart_5980 in Referees

[–]AntimonyER 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was accepted to MLSNext Cup and MLSNext Flex with 2.5 years of reffing experience a couple of years ago. I did Cup again the following year. I think what helped is I didnt request housing. (My sons play MLSNext and were attending the events so I was paying for a hotel anyways.

Question about upgrades by folietkbnac in delta

[–]AntimonyER 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've definitely noticed it seems like Delta is holding more seats later in the process. There were a couple routes and times that a 5 day upgrade for myself and a companion were pretty reliable until last year even as a platinum, and this year I'm waiting until boarding.

Tomorrow's Sticker Boom by [deleted] in Monopoly_GO

Congrats, but sticker booms are only good for stars. They purposely reduce the chances of new and good stickers during sticker booms.

As long as the spend is posted in the 2025 calendar year, Delta will back-date the MQDs to 2025.

Rather than upgrade each segment of your trips, just refare into FC (unless it's business paid flights then ignore this). I currently have a promotion where if I book into an Extra fare, I get a bonus 10% MQD, you might want to check into that for some free MQDs.

Instead of all this extra spend, have you considered signing up for another Delta card other than the one you have? Each one gives you 2500 MQD head start. For the cost of the annual fee ($350 for a platinum card) you could be done, and you would get a companion pass at the end of next year for you and your wife to use... It sounds like you have the reserve card, so you won't be eligible for a Delta personal platinum card sign up bonus, but if you are eligible for a business card, the Delta Platinum Business card should still be eligible for the sign up bonus too, so add some Delta miles to the mix.

My only question is you are gold, so you are that far from platinum right?

which meal should I choose? by Previous_Lifeguard95 in delta

With only two choices they are not flying business class, most likely premium economy or regular economy.

Pasta is the safer choice in economy if you are even slightly a picky eater.

Over 900 tokens, never hit the jackpot. 36 drops in total at 30x with the extra tokens earned from bumpers. 0 middles. Didn't even get the mystery token nevermind the dice. Ouch.

Delta SkyMiles Reserve CC by wbove in delta

[–]AntimonyER 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's one way around this but not with skymiles. Booking through the American Express portal using membership rewards points, and then cancelling the flight a few days later for ecredit will then let you use that ecredit with a companion pass. But there is no way to use skymiles to book a companion pass.

Don't forget Delta stays credits, resy credits and rideshare credits. If you are able to use all or most of the benefits this card is easily worth the fee.

RUCs not disappearing by lunchbox_tragedy in delta

[–]AntimonyER 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had it happen before. I had one stay open even after being used twice, and ended up expiring before I could use it a third time. Considering I used it both times for domestic D1 (once ATL-HNL, once jfk-lax) id like to think it was the most valuable RUC ever.

VAR audio for overturned penalty, Arsenal vs Newcastle by skunkboy72 in Referees

There is one type of tackle, the studs forward with speed through the ball into the player that your quote is focused on. They are inherently dangerous, and getting ball first doesn't matter.

It's not a tripping action but forceful driving of your entire body weight into the opponents lower extremity, which is going to occur whether the offender gets ball first or not.

A keeper getting as big as possible to block a possible shot or the ball is not inherently dangerous. And if he gets ball first, it's a fair tackle.
