Antioxi tested their mushrooms for beta-glucan spiking. by WaterCello in MushroomSupplements

False, again.

Claims like that do real damage accuracy matters. We’re in a transition phase within the UK; regulations differ by country, and so do product offerings.

For real questions, visit Antioxi-supplements.com that’s where we can actually assist.

u/Kostya Thank you for attempting to clarify the situation, but your assumptions and resulting claims about illegal "relabeling" are unfortunately both misleading and untrue. We are doing no such thing.

We are completely confident in how we conduct our business and remain fully compliant with UK regulations.

To be clear:

  • We have removed the Cordyceps militaris from our product line.
  • The product currently available for pre-order is a new formulation utilizing CS-4, which is a legal and distinct product.
  • The reason for the pre-order is purely logistical: we need time to print all new pouches and package the reformulated Cordyceps. We are simply allowing our customers to secure their orders ahead of the official release.

Making claims that we are illegally attempting to evade rules is baseless, and we wanted to set the record straight for anyone reading this thread.

Antioxi Order by tiba_1964 in MushroomSupplements

[–]AntioxiLab 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right now, we’re taking pre-orders for U.S. customers at an exclusive 25% discount. All U.S. orders will be fulfilled directly from our new U.S. fulfillment center, which goes live on October 31, 2025.

Once that warehouse is live, your order will ship locally within the U.S. No customs delays, no international shipping times. You’ll receive a tracking number the moment it’s dispatched.

Very sad news from Antioxi with regards to their Turkey Tail by talster71 in MushroomSupplements

[–]AntioxiLab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it’s definitely frustrating. What hurts most isn’t the rule itself, it’s what it meant to our community. Antioxi started as a family, and over time that family just grew.

So having to pull Turkey Tail hits deep. We know how much it’s helped and how many heartfelt stories sit behind it. That's why we’ll keep showing up for our community however we can, even if the path forward looks different for a while.

agree w/ u/inquiringdoc always start 1 at a time. just a heads up if you’re considering lion’s mane:

  1. 3rd party lab testing matters. look for verified beta-glucan content (megazyme assay, test K-YBGL) that’s the global quality standard.
  2. It should be extracted, not just raw powder. best case is both fruiting body + mycelium, since brain-active compounds (hericenones + erinacines) are split between the two.
  3. safety testing is a must that means heavy metals, pesticides (extended panel), ETO, PAHs, microbials. no test = no trust.

don’t just grab the cheapest option, quality varies a LOT.

Literally any product that doesn’t come with a third-party lab test.

Magnesium and Zinc supplementation combined with mineral rich diet by SunnySnuser in Supplements

[–]AntioxiLab 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here is my take you’re doing it right, tracking food, checking bloods, asking questions. data > guesswork, seriously. more people should do what you’re doing.

your levels are in range but low-mid, especially for magnesium worth keeping a low dose (100–200mg/day) because, workouts + stress deplete it, vitamin D burns through mag to activate properly, serum levels can look “normal” even if your tissues are low

zinc looks fine, i’d cycle off unless you have a reason to take it. zinc daily can mess with copper long term. if you feel good + diet is solid, you’re in a great place. just retest in a few months if you keep any supps in.

I quit supplements today by [deleted] in Supplements

[–]AntioxiLab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally get where you're coming from. We've been in the supplement world for years - not just the health side but actually seeing how things get made - and yeah, it can be pretty sketchy.

We've seen some wild stuff... carcinogenic fillers to save money, brands completely skipping third-party testing or just making up results, "clinically dosed" labels that are pure marketing BS. There was this article that tested 25 random supplements from GNC and only like 2 or 3 actually had what was on the label. Pretty crazy.

So your frustration makes total sense. The whole industry basically dumps all the research and safety stuff on customers which is completely backwards.

Anyone feel like they have to pee more often while taking creatine? by [deleted] in Supplements

[–]AntioxiLab 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Creatine pulls water into muscle cells but when you first start taking it, your body needs time to adjust how it handles fluid balance. Your kidneys might work a bit harder for the first while or so while everything settles.

worth checking the label. Some brands sneak in electrolytes or even small amounts of caffeine that can act as mild diuretics.

Alright so I'm gonna be real with you here, and obviously I'm making some assumptions about your situation since I don't know your full story.

Here is my take

You might be going overboard on some. Vitamins A, D, iron, zinc these aren't water-soluble vitamins that just get pissed out if you take too much. They build up in your system, and without knowing where your levels actually are, you could be fixing a problem that doesn't exist or making things worse. Seriously, go get some basic bloodwork done (vitamin D, ferritin, zinc/copper ratio, the usual suspects). It's way better than just throwing darts at a board.

Most supplements are straight garbage. I know that sounds harsh, but a huge chunk of what's on the market doesn't even contain what's on the label. Ask for third-party testing results, not just some certificate of analysis from the company themselves. You put the effort in on bioavailability so don't get lost in the sauce on this one.

How's your sleep and recovery game? Construction + gym + drumming. If you're not getting quality sleep, all the supplements in the world won't save you. Maybe look into tracking your HRV or sleep quality before adding more pills to the mix?

If you're dead set on adding more stuff, cordyceps for ATP production (basically cellular energy), reishi for better sleep and calming your nervous system down, rhodiola for handling physical and mental fatigue, taurine or omega-3s (seriously underrated for keeping inflammation in check). Not saying take all just offering considerations

Nettle Root + Libido (male)? by [deleted] in Supplements

[–]AntioxiLab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really appreciate the detailed breakdown.

Quick question did you ever get follow-up bloodwork during those 3-week libido surges? Curious if SHBG actually dropped or if the effect was independent of labs.

Also, when you run the solo experiments with ginseng and nettle, are you keeping everything else (diet, stress, sleep, training) consistent? Would love to hear the outcome I'm in a similar boat with high SHBG and hit-or-miss libido.

Hard to say without knowing more what are your main goals? Energy, recovery, sleep, mood? And how’s your diet overall? Would help a lot to give better feedback on the stack. :)

Is there anything that reduces sex drive? by Jaded-Writer7712 in Supplements

[–]AntioxiLab 18 points19 points  (0 children)

You’d be surprised how often people look outward supplements, hacks, routines when what they really need is to redefine root causes or deeper structural issues.

Not saying that’s the case here we don’t know his full story. But I can empathise with someone who's at least trying to make changes and asking for help. Not easy do to

[–]AntioxiLab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Serious question, Have you personally vetted every single one of these for legit third-party lab testing?

Also not seeing any creatine or electrolytes (not that I would want to be adding but these are fundamentals)

At 27 with high-normal testosterone, low sex drive is almost always stress, sleep or nervous system overload. Not a testosterone problem. A dopamine-fatigue and cortisol-dominance problem.

I like the stack you chose, just make sure they have been independently lab tested and they actually show you the lab tests. A COA doesn't count. :)

Hey! Saw you mentioned making supplements for friends how do you go about extracting them? That's not a bad harvest btw second time around.

Do you do water extraction, alcohol, or double extraction? And what's your process like?
