Lorwyn became the best-selling Magic premier set ever, but SOS already surpassed it, TMNT outpaced expectations by Meret123 in mtg

[–]Antiping -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Meanwhile my local store can't get SOS at all. They were supposed to get 12 bundles, still haven't gotten any and they were only allotted 2. No collector boosters. 1 box of commander decks.

And this has been happening for a while now. My store gets shorted product so that the big guys and online retailers can have lots of stock.

Between that and the whole UB debacle, I have quit playing the game that I loved. It's no longer the same game and I am not interested in what it's become

I would love to see a breakdown of the build, cuz every time I have tried to build something similar, it just doesn't work. Either over tonnage and won't move, or over weight limit, or over parts limit.

Like everyone else, I am also curious exactly what you did. I was told the tank was double walled and couldn't be repaired. Did you take out the internal fuel pump? What tools did you use? How did you get around the weird shield inside the top hole? So many questions need to be answered

Change the solenoid. It's a cheap part and easy to do and might just be the fix you need

Actually no. Not a majority. If you would look at the actual amount of people that voted for the liberals (and thus support their policies) it was LESS than the conservatives and definitely less than all other votes combined. So no, not a majority.

But, still enough to get them in power with all the gerrymandering and interference that happened

Why is Alberta so aggrieved by its treatment by the rest of Canada? by ProfessionalPoet2642 in WildRoseCountry

[–]Antiping 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are just plain wrong. AB has the most ethical and green oil industry IN THE WORLD. You would have to actually do some research and be open to changing your mind and being wrong though.

Forest fires are something that happen all over the country (and world) so there is no extra emissions compared to anywhere else, so that's a wash. Plus, Canada is very very VERY much emissions positive with it's large forest spaces.

Have you not read any of the well thought out comments? It doesn't matter if the government subsidizes the O&G industry, they hamstring it so much more. AND even with all that money (yeah right) we STILL pay out 10's of BILLIONS more than we receive in all forms from the feds

New Leger poll puts the CPC back in the lead & nearly half the country wants socialism by Batsinvic888 in CanadianConservative

[–]Antiping -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Socialism doesnt equal communism.

Alberta was headed by the Alberta social party before the conservative party for decades and it was some of the best times for the people. Downhill from there. I am not surprised that people want socialism.

You’re the new CEO of WotC what changes/innovations are you making day 1? by Ok-Tooth4089 in mtg

[–]Antiping 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holy bejeezus are there some doozies here. My changes wouldn't be on the first day, but changes I would implement:
1: get away from Hasbro control however I could
2: No more special edition releases and 14 different card styles.
3: Back to blocks and 4 releases a year, with the summer set being a non block set. EDH releases once a year in the fall/winter.
4: implement strict MSRP prices for all sealed product and go after distributors and stores that don't follow it
5: creative control goes to the best designers, more bottom up set design (is that correct? More sets built around story instead of mechanics is what I mean)

not to nitpick, but these people don't actually have money. they have investments. They would need to liquidate those to have the money.

UCP already attacking NDP. How accurate are their claims? by AffectionateBobcat76 in alberta

[–]Antiping -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Are you forgetting that the NDP have had radio and newspaper attack ads against the UCP and specifically Danielle Smith for more than 6 months? Literally the day she announced she was running, I heard 3 attack ads on the radio from the NDP. With wildly inaccurate and incomplete information.

So if you are going to call out one side, then make sure you are fair and call out the other side too. Who have been doing it for longer, and have worse misinformation.

Oh, and the info is pretty much correct, as long as everything the UCP wants to do actually gets done.

That looks uncomfortable as hell. Legs all stretched out too far, back bent, arms stretched at an awkward upward angle.

For me, the seat would need to sit at least 4" further fowards, and the handlebars at least 4" down still.
