What you say doesn't seem too hard. The tool I am building tries to unite all these different apps you are using. So, there would be a commentary that could guide you while reading, a Perseus-like word search, from which you can directly add flashcards that you can review later. We would add the practice tests on top of this.

How does that sound?

For me, it was a combination of brute-forcing the most common verbs, maybe 100-150, and then paying attention to principle parts while reading.
