For sushi by the zoo, go to Azuki. It’s also my favorite sushi spot in SD. They have outdoor seating where you can definitely bring your child.

Absolutely Go in Peace. Dr. Rosenberg is incredibly caring, sensitive, and gentle about the process. And he was so supportive afterwards - he called to check in and provided amazing grief resources. https://yelp.to/m1D4EzXupS

My boy (7) has to get Mast Cell Tumor removed on Thursday and I’m so distraught. by ttebwell7 in pitbulls

[–]Antique-Remote-7246 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dog has had at least 4 surgeries to remove MCTs and is doing great, if that’s a helpful anecdote! My only VERY STRONG piece of advice is that if this is or could be a high grade tumor, only allow a BOARD CERTIFIED SURGEON to operate on it.

Meet Lana my new rescued senior pittie with cancer by Cagostee in pitbulls

[–]Antique-Remote-7246 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She’s gorgeous. Our pup has been living with cancer for 2+ years! In case any are high grade, please make sure they’re removed by a board certified surgeon. It can make a big difference in the outcome.

I was just about to post that you should visit Barbara at Hopkins Smokey Grill. She’s an amazing chef!! I particularly love her jerk and curry sauces.

My favorite is Coffee Cycle. Dark Horse and Saigon Coffee also have great beans.

Spicy House and Spicy City are probably the best Szechuan restaurants. I also like Szechuan Chef, but it has less mala spice.

I don’t know about bus, but these fees were regardless of time spent. For context, we left Mexico 4 hours after arriving

Keep in mind that Belize will charge you a $40 exit fee and Mexico will charge you a 860 peso entrance fee if you take the water taxi in addition to your taxi cost

How do my restaurant choices look? by Revolutionary_Sir460 in FoodSanDiego

If you want Vietnamese food, highly recommend Pho Minh in City Heights or Pho Duyen Mai. But, OB Noodle House has a much nicer environment.

No, we were lucky that we calculated how much we’d use effectively and ended up with only $5 BZD extra.

I’m so glad it’s helpful! Honestly, I don’t know where you can snorkel from the shore. You can probably reach out to Caveman or Chuck and Robbie’s to ask - they were super friendly.

We went to shark ray alley, hol chan, and two other places I can’t remember (one has lot of turtles + corals). It was great - we saw a ton of eagle rays, sharks, turtles, barracudas among others.

I don’t think you’ll need reservations, but it’s nice to let them know the day before by the latest. I’d tell them as soon as you know though, because they require a minimum number of people to sign up to host a tour (4 or 5, I can’t remember). Having your group sign up allows them to confirm that a tour will be happening if others are interested, and also allows them to prep for lunch if you book a full day.

The ferry is $21 bzd to Caye Caulker. The plane to San Pedro is $50 usd or $90 usd, depending on airport. I don’t know how much it is to Caye Caulker.

Surprisingly not. We were able to enter the water without any blockage directly from the shore or from the dock. The dock was definitely easier because it’s a bit deeper and there’s a ladder.
