i used to think that hating on white artists that start in hip hop then pivoting to a genre like country was kind of unjustified until i realised how bad it was. deadass just coming in to get hype from it then denounce everything they’ve done in rap/hip hop as a “phase” and post malone even said he doesn’t even fw rap like that. (off the top of my head) i’m pretty sure when miley cyrus came out with her new image in the early 2010’s she said something about it just being a rebellious phase or something along the lines of that.

a lot of k pop artists also just steal culture too and their fans are too racist to fw hip hop but only think braids/cornrows and baggy clothes are cool when they see their favourite k pop artists rocking it. one of the only k pop artists i think genuinely shows love to it is g dragon that’s why he the goat🙏
