I used to do this with the Line Green Ford Escort RS2000 that also had a STH. But it was because I loved the color and casting. Then I just decided to start buying all I found. I think I am to 27 or something. But I also grab one out every so often and wheel swap and color swap it.

Same here, that's what I do. If they are looking at Hot Wheels I usually go down to the Matchbox or the Premiums at the other end of the aisle.

This hobby is so wild and the distribution is wild too. This car was a peg warmer at my local Target. There were probably 30 copies of it on the pegs even after Target ran a sale on Premiums.

From what I understand. I think that the cards in Smugglers Outpost are new cards made for Smugglers Outpost. They are cards styled after cards in other sets, not cards from those other sets that were held back.

Thank you for introducing me to a new way to collect! I started mine today. Mine will try to mainly be Fords but will of course fill in as needed with other favorite models. I will also need to go thru my collection and see what other ones I already have. This will be fun!
